JEFA Tech Adapter: RP-SMA Male to N Male

this fits perfectly on my usb wifi adapter and my cantenna antenna. It gives a boost of about 3-6 decibles over the 3 foot cable I was using. if you are making a cantenna, use this to attach your usb device directly to the cantenna and use a usb extention cord to the wifi adapter. makes a big difference in signal strength and quality.

These adapters are needed to wire up 802.11 wi-fi amps and antennas.The terminology/language relating to the gender annotation of SMA connectors is counter-intuitive for many folks so be sure you order the correct connector configuration. Wikipedia has some good photos of the SMA connector types.Be sure to order the correct adapter types to avoid disappointment.

if you got the alfa awus036nhr or similar ..... YOU HAVE GOT TO BUY THIS !!!! the small part DOES screw on to the alfa card ...... now if i only new which gigantic antenna the large part attaches to ......

Simple, works just fine. I used this to hook up my Alfa 500mW adapter directly to a 2.4GHz dish antenna, with great success. I haven't measured the loss on this connector, but the surfaces are clean, and it seems solid. Not much more you can ask for...

This is a very well-made adapter. I expected as much from Cables to Go. I have a few of their other products and they're just as good as this one.

when i first received this product i was like OMG and was BLOWN AWAY with the performance of the RP-SMA... if you or anyone else are in love with RP-SMA connectors-n-stuff i totally recommend this one directly from "Cables to Go"
