This RC car is amazing and super fast. Not recommend for beginners with that said I had a issue with one of the front wheels and it locked up and lost control. The car was damaged and I contacted Amazon and the seller they both helped me reach a solution. I ended up ordering a new car through the same seller and would recommend this seller. I bought insurance both times either way but I was happy to know the seller and Amazon were eager to help as well. I recommend the extended insurance just to be on the safe side.

Has an updated hobbywing esc in it now. Much much much better esc. Transmitter is still junk but it has a separate receiver which means adding a dumbo transmitter is easy. It will run a 3S battery but believe me, absolutely NOT necessary. This buggy is just stupid silly crazy fast. Tires are very good but for pavement use I run contact foams. Very good chassis. Fully adjustable and the steering servo is very quick too. Takes MINOR hits ok but will completely disintegrate if you hit something at speed. Then again, anything going this fast will destroy itself if you hit something. Also, remove the diffs and pack them with lithium grease as they are usually empty of any kind of lubricant. Shocks are very good especially when you use 50+ wt shock oil.

Haven’t had an RC in years, this was my ‘getting back into the hobby on a budget’ purchase after seeing good reviews on YouTube. It’s fun, but fragile. The battery it comes with sucks and lasts less than 15 minutes on a full charge. If you have 3D printers there’s a ton of printable aftermarket stuff for these WLToys cars. I printed a larger battery tray, and new A-arms when I blew mine up hitting a curb. It’s plenty fast out of the box, the tires it comes with are more suited for dirt than pavement, I tore mine up after the 3rd battery. It’s a 12mm hex so there’s plenty of other options out there. Glad I bought it, it’s fun to upgrade and bash around with.

Awesome little buggy and super quick !!!

This RC is a beast! running 2s lipo I clocked using the Sky Rc gps 44mph and on 3s I got 60mph! Enough said get one if you love speed. Handling is nice and stable with nice responsive steering. Handles everything you throw at it but the most extreme skatepark bashing. Plenty of parts and upgrades available too. Being a 12mm hex there is a plethora of tires to buy and if I had to find something not so good; for offroad bashing I do recommend a larger set of tires, way better experience in the off road performance.

Add a dumborc remote with this. It is uncontrollable with the factory transmitter and receiver. Even with the 40$ remote it still comes in under 200$ .

The steering screw was broken and was held on with glue, it could've been a simple fix but they used some serious glue on the threads and there isn't enough of the screw sticking out to grab it. The ESC is on top of the battery area making it almost impossible to fit a battery and all the electronics were loose. The ESC is malfunctioning and I can't use any 3S battery. I contacted them today 08/03/2024 through email. Let's see how long it takes them to rectify the issues. They offered me a partial credit. The ESC is supposed to be 60a but the box says 45a.

This car is fast as hell and super durable. My son crashed into dozens of rocks w it and somehow........ nothing is broken yet. Good value for the money. The only thing I don't like about it is the speed control/ trigger response on the remote. You have to pull the trigger pretty far (in my opinion) for the car to start moving. Which is disappointing since I have the brushed model of this car also and it's great on that one. But over all super fun.
