Wish there was some EXAMPLE files to use instead of the japanese files that are preconfigured.
I am trying to figure out this programed LED thing and you need 3 expensive programs for this which are not included. A Draw/Publish program a CAD (computer aided design program, then the program that allows you to compile the light sequence which is free. WHY you can not have a lite version of software that combines the process of the expensive programs which are proprietary and needed for the free program to read is worthless to leave out. No support for the product either so no template to work with unless you are an expert and already have the expensive software in hand.

The software is inscrutible garbage.
While the pre-installed programs ran fine and the features of the controller work, you have to install LED EDIT 2012 or newer (2014, in fact, was the only one with this model listed specifically) and if you have not experienced horrible interfaces before, prepare yourself. First off, you can't find an official distributor of the software, so you're relying on sketchy download sites to even get a recent version of it, as the version that comes on the SD card has a bad installer for DotNetFX. The software interface makes very little sense and you can't optimize it for long marquee displays. It assumes you're going to be doing a grid. The english is horrible, the layout features make no sense and it relies on Flash player to view and record animations. This is not worth purchasing. There are many better ways to control a WS2811 strip. Do not fall for this archaic, ugly, proprietary device. Grab a Pi or an Arduino.

Trash software
I've tried all different versions on Led Edit software that I can find online. Constant errors claiming class not registered. Finally got 2021 Led Edit to work correctly but now my newly created lighting scenes do not work when I transfer to the card. I've read many reviews stating to format the original SD card, which I tried, and had no luck. I've tried exporting the LED file using different controllers and different lighting chips and still have made no progress with this software. I've spent way to many hours trying this out so save your self the headache and just go the Arduino way.
