3 Minutes of Your Time for Peace of Mind
The media could not be loaded. I feel like I've just about tried it all when it comes to keeping muddy pawprints off of my new, light colored floors: dog booties, dog cleaning wipes, and now the Mudbuster. There just aren't any dog booties out there right now that will stay on my dogs' paws. I have two 70-pound mixed breeds-- a boy and a girl. The booties don't come up high enough, and no matter how tightly I wrap the velcro strap around their paws (can't be too tight either or it'll be uncomfortable and impractical for them), the booties flip off and go flying the second the dogs begin to run around in the yard. I would end up having to go outside to find the lost booties and have to clean my dogs' paws anyway. I even looked at dog booties that are attached to a suspender-like harness, but I didn't want to get that desperate yet. My dogs didn't really like walking in the booties anyway. Most of the time they just stood there and stared at me like they weren't sure what to do now.The dog cleaning wipes were my next choice. I tried two different brands. They were just ok. I had to use multiple wipes per dog, and it wasn't that great at getting the mud off. It would also flick lots of pieces of mud and dirt off their paws onto my floor.Which finally led me to the Mudbuster. Although it's a bit messy to use because of the water, this takes 1st Prize easily over the other two aforementioned options I tried. The Mudbuster is like a giant deep cup that holds lots of water, you stick your dog's paw in there, rub it against the soft silicone-like bristles, and it does an excellent job at cleaning them off. You'll just need a towel with you to dry off the paw after you dunk it in the water. I uploaded a video of myself and my boy this morning demonstrating the Mudbuster. It's about 3 minutes long, but that's all it takes. Compared to vacuuming and mopping and scrubbing dirt and mud off the floors and carpets, it's worth it.I bought 2 Mudbusters, one for each dog. I fill each up with warm water after I let them outside and grab a couple towels. My dogs have quickly adapted to getting their paws cleaned after coming inside on rainy days and don't seem to mind them at all. They seem to prefer that anyway to me picking at and scrubbing their pads.Since I've used this product so many times, I've gone through the process of cleaning them and it's not bad at all. All I did was pull a little on a tab on the inside of the cup near the top, and it let me take the silicone part out in one piece to where it was just the cup left. Washed each piece off with warm water and carefully placed the bristled part back inside, and voila. This product gets 5 stars from me because, for me, it's the best thing that's worked so far at keeping my floors clean. It takes a little bit of work and some towels, but it's totally worth it. Also, my dogs do so well with this product, it's hard not to appreciate that too!

This IS the tool for cleaning your dogs paws!
I have 3 Labs: 55lbs, 65lbs, and 85lbs. I bought/use the large MudBuster: this size works exceptionally well on all 3 dogs. My Labs ore outside all the time and they are typical Labs - they like to explore and like to get dirty. For convenience and readiness, I keep the MudBuster in a 5 gallon pail of water ready to use (with a lid for safety). After a very short acclimaton period of time, my dogs are willing particiants to get their feet clean. I give them a treat after each cleaning, and they now actually go and sit near the bucket when they come in. One filling of water typically does all 4 paws on a dog. I then dump the dirty water, refill, and on the the next dog. The fingers inside of the MudBuster do an excellent job of loosening the dirt from between their toes. The depth of the cup is also very good to clean 6-8" up the dogs legs. I have found this product easy to use, effcient at cleaning, and the dogs are much more receptive to this than spraying them with a hose. You can't miss with this!!

Great thing to have for my dogs after a daily walk
Loved this MudBuster. I am glad I ordered the right size for my Husky and Rottweiler based on the site's size suggestion. Their paws fit right in and sparkly cleaned afterwards. I left it in front of the door and wipe their paws before they get inside the house. Very useful. Help keep the house clean. One suggestion to the buyer is to add a handle for easy usage, specially for the large size because with water on, it becomes heavy and hard to hold without a handle. So what I did was to order on Amazon a handle with Velcro of the same color to wrap around it, and it stayed very well, which helped a lot on the task for eight paws every day after a walk. Other than that, it's a great product, sturdy and would last for a long time.

An absolute necessity for country living.
I bought this in November '22. It has been a game changer. My Jake is an ACD mix and loves water. Jake can free range on our property as we are very remote and the nearest neighbor is over 1.5 miles away. We have two dry ponds near our house that fill when we have rain. The Mud Buster makes clean up after a romp outside manageable. I tried a dish pan tub and lots of treats but Jake just wasn't grooving with it. He totally does not mind the MudBuster. Now he knows when he comes in muddy, which is often, that his feet will be washed and it's fast, with very little mess. He almost acts like he expects it to happen and he likes it? I did buy a large. Jake weighs about 70 lbs. I think I could have gotten away with a medium, but the large does the trick. If you have lots of mud this thing is the Best Thing Ever!!!! Worth every penny. I would totally buy again.

My golden retriever loves having his feet cleaned!!
I’ve never tried anything like this but admit to finding it to continually time-consuming to nonstop have to groom my long, beautiful flowing haired canine with hair growing EVERYWHERE-even in-between his pads on the very bottom of his feet. I live where there are two *mud-seasons*, which our two dogs love but we don’t.At first he wasn't to sure, so I let him sleep with it & had it laying around before using it, showed it to him w/ water in it, then had no problem rinsing off his paws, only had to keep changing water a lot. Now, helps if I 1st remove loose debris then fill w/ warm soapy water [dang spoiled dog grew up as a pup with swimming in a partially ice-covered high altitude lakbut now, yr or two later likes water I’d classify as *hot*, even for me, which he adores. Even prefers doggie dryer on hot but I vary it to protect his coat.]Rinse, fill w/ rinse water, use with dog; repeat as necessary or your dog allows. It works wonderfully like it says it does & my dog loves the gentle motion of the many-pronged brushes both up & down & sidewise. Sturdy, can use DW, & I already have used it a lot since just getting it. It's a great way to help, a tiny bit, the challenges of living in a multi-hairy-shedding-dog household.
