Best bang for your buck on Amazon
First, there's a lot of fake lumens flashlights on Amazon,so beware! Sofirn,Wurkkos, and Wowtac, are the legit brands in the budget category. Other brands like Olight,Thrunite,Nitecore,Acebeam, and Fenix are legit, but these brands are more well known. And they have established their brand names. So they're good, have proven performance numbers, and are used by many who depend on flashlights for their jobs,or hobbies.Of all these brands, Sofirn is matching them in performance, but at up to half the price, model for model. Wurkkos, and Astrolux, are sibling brands, under Mateminco, one of the largest manufacturers in China. Now,this model, the Sofirn SP33s, is a killer for the price. It's very bright,it comes with a high capacity 26650 battery, it has a built in usb charger, and the beam spread is very good. This is a flooder, and the hotspot is very faint and widely distributed. When I first got it and compared it to my other flashlights, I wondered about the lumens. I have four other flashlights with 3000+ lumens. The SP33s didn't seem that much brighter, not 1300+ lumens brighter like I expected. But I've learned this.Lumens, lux measurements, are not the same as candela numbers. You can have a flashlight rated at much lower lumens, but have a higher candela rating. In laymans terms, what does this mean?It means the hotspot on the lower lumen flashlight is much smaller and brighter, but the overall amount of light being projected is less. And after I realized this,I could see how much this SP33s was lighting everything in front of me,in a much wider spread beam. And I didn't have to move the flashlight from side to side to see everything as much. So,in real life applications, this flashlight is great for flooding an entire area, equally. If you want to see your whole backyard,at a glance quickly, double click it into turbo and it covers a huge area. The same goes if your camping and want to check out the area around you fast.Look at the youtube reviews on this flashlight, and other Sofirn models. Some of the reviewers compare this model to others. In this price range, it's not going to be beat.Only the Thrunite TC20V2 will come close, and theyre $70 bucks.Heat management is good for this high lumen flashlight, better than the Astrolux EC01 (great performer with more of a defined hotspot) and holds it's lumens longer, much better than the Sofirn IF25A,which gets hot quickly( but is considerable smaller, and easily fits in your pocket) ,and drops down faster. The Sofirn IF25A is my top recommendation for a small powerful,3800 lumens (6500k) flashlight. Inside a house, looking for something or just lighting up the room,it's the best. it's under $40 here on Amazon. It has a great floody beam and diffused hotspot as well. The 6500 K color on the 4 SST20 emitters,is a tad warmer for those who are tint picky. But for the price difference, and for outside use and still great indoors,to light up a room (ceiling bounce) in a power outage, the SP33s is worth the $15 bucks more. And it has longer runtimes in turbo and high modes, with a much larger capacity battery. The only flashlight that beats the Sofirn SP33s is the Sofirn (Astrolux) EC03. But it's not available on Amazon. It's on the Sofirnlight, com website, and only ships from China. It's close to the same price, but you don't get the advantges that buy on Amazon gives you.And you'll have to wait for close to three weeks to get it. That model is the king in bang for your buck,6700 (actually measured higher on the Samsung 40t) lumens, and the beam is a beautiful, flood monster. So,on Amazon, the Sofirn SP33s,and the IF25A(6500k kit) are really hard to beat for the price. Replacement batteries for the SP33s are hard to find. There are only a couple of 26650 manufacturers that should be considered. And they're never in stock. Electric bike and skateboard makers keep buying them up in bulk! So, for the SP33s,and it's high powered XHP70 emitter, you want only the Samsung 40t,or the Molicel P42A 21700 battery. I use a piece of foam and wrap it around the battery so it doesn't rattle. Don't buy these batteries on Amazon,Ebay,or ALIexpress. They're too many fakes out there. Only Liion Wholesale,or 18650 Battery store have the best deals, and are legit distributors. I hope this helps.

Great Flashlight!
Super bright and battery lasts a long time. Size is only slightly thicker than those using 18650 batteries. Great for walking at night and brightness covers a large area and projects over a long distance.

Now this is a Flashlight, its the Big Daddy of Flashlights, it lights of a stadium!
This Sofirn flashlight SP33S is rated at 5000 Lumens and its very close to it with a fully charged Battery. The Aluminum case has some girth so don't expect a small thin flashlight. The reflector offers a wide room filling beam, outside this light truly gives you a beam of sunshine no one can hide from. I carry a spare fully charged battery during my shift along with a back up flashlight especially full moon nights when things get crazy. I'm a big fan of the hardened glass Collimating Lenses (TIR optics) like the ones used in high end car LED Headlights, they are starting to appear in some new LED flashlights and man if you want long distance beams in hand held LED flashlights this is the only way to go. Avoid plastic Collimating Lenses, they don't focus as well and get scratched up fast. Sofirn is using Glass Collimating Lenses in some models now. Battery life is short on full power so limit running full tilt or you’ll loose having the advantage of full brightness. If the battery is down on power this light will skip the brightest setting. I ordered high quality high output 26650 Lithium-Ion cells to get full use out of this flashlight because I depend on if.

Solid 1000+ lumens for 2hrs12min
Very good value at $54.95 (price after coupon). Doesn't quite reach 5000 lumens with the included battery according to some reviews. Turbo starts out at 4300 lumens for 2 minutes, then drops to a steady 1080 lumens for another 2hrs 10min. It's very hard to find a steady 1000 lumen light at this price! Then it drops to 0 and shuts down at 2hrs 15min. Medium is 480 lumens and should hold that for much longer. Also works as a power bank for other devices (USB C to C). Solid construction with good materials. There is a little battery rattle, so I slipped a thin piece of cardboard on the side of the battery to stop it shaking in the tube. I'm really pleased so far.

Great flashlight, even better at this price
Let's start with the dislikes: It's not an actual lightsaber. I wish it were, and I'm sure they're working on it. And it gets a bit hot on the turbo setting. Now, the likes: There's a lot here. It's just a great light, and the great price only makes it better. In short, this has become my go-to light for lots of activities. It is bright, no doubt. There are very few activities for which this will not be bright enough. Camping: No problems at all, as the bright, smooth light performed very well. Hiking: Same story. General travel: I like having a good light with me when I travel, and this does extremely well. I have extra batteries that each add 5000mAh, so I don't bother carrying a power bank, since this can fast charge my phone. Biking: I fix this to my helmet for night riding using this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08B5Z53RX. It's easily bright enough for the darkest riding. I use this with a pair of Sofirn IF25A lights to have really excessive lighting available at a fraction of the cost of dedicated bike lights. In short, get one. You'll be happy.
