The battery on my HP Pavilion finally died requiring its replacement. I chose the Ninja battery based on it many positive reviews and have not been disappointed. I did read the one and two star reviews as I always do so was prepared should there be issues. The battery fit perfectly, and I followed the initial charging program as closely as possible. Everything is flawless so far, but I can't attest to life expectancy yet. One caveat: because the battery is not OEM the computer does not recognize it as being installed. That doesn't affect its operation or condition display at all though. I am very happy with this purchase. I feel it is a very good value

So i tried to buy some used oem batteries from the strore for my hp laptop and had to return both of them, i guess all oem hp batteries are too old, and also another extended battery i got lasted only a year until it got swollen for no reason and charged only to 75 percent. I was going to get rid of the 8440p laptop since It was old but wanted to give it one more try. This battery charged to 100 percent and lasted very long. It is the best aftermarket HP battery that can be bough. 5 stars for now, if anything changed within a year i will update my review.

The product fits my older HP laptop and seems to be a good battery. I started getting the message that my old battery was no longer holding a charge so I purchased this battery as a replacement. It does fit properly and works well. I do feel the battery life is not as long as my older aftermarket battery but it does the job. Once charged and my computer laptop while on stand by it holds the charge for about a day. When using the laptop, it drains in a few hours. My old battery seemed to last much longer on both stand by and while in use. Hopefully this will will last several years like my old aftermarket one did. Overall I'll give it a 3-4 star battery.

I have had this for a almost a year. It is larger than the replacement because the laptop sits higher on the bottom from it but I think that is because it is for more battery power, which this unit has. Seems to hold power for long periods and holds a charge well. This is the 2nd battery that I have owned from Ninja. The first one lasted 3 years. I thought I had a problem with this new battery because it would not charge anymore after 10 months and they offered to replace it free of charge within the 1st year under warranty. They were responsive and prompt in replying to me. After emailing them I discovered that the problem was the way the battery was clipped in. Somehow on my laptop a removable panel had shifted which did not allow the battery to make full contact with the charging pins. It clipped in, but on closer inspection the panels to the battery looked off. In fact I had to remove the panel to get the battery out at all. After I removed that panel with 4 screws and fit it back to where it belonged the battery clips in correctly now and charges fully at 100% . It works like new again. My fault completely for not seeing this before contacting them.

Arrive on time and fit perfectly. Works like a dream.

Great product and great service

This is the 5th battery I've been through on this laptop! They last me between 2 and 3 years. Yeah, I know that, technologically speaking, my 11 year old dinosaur of a monster HP 17.3" laptop is ready for the trash heap. * I know that I've tricked it out with software, memory, SSDs, extra cooling and other stuff that'll bog it down and use up juice. * I love the fact that the battery releases with simply the flick of a latch that releases it for replacement. (And with a flick of the latch in the other direction - voila - the case is open giving you painless access to all HDD & SSD bays, chips, etc!) * I know it's old enough that finding ANY battery for it is a good thing. BUT - why are all (the few) batteries out there basically crap when it comes to runtime? From the first time I had to replace the battery in the laptop, the batteries have gotten worse and worse in actual MAh. Each one claims to be a bigger capacity but in fact they have gotten progressively worse with each new replacement battery. This one's no exception. Original battery (this is a 12 cell battery) gave me nearly 12 hours of runtime doing the usual desktop type stuff. Next one a bit less and so-on down to this one. Down to about 2 to 3 hours! Maybe it's inferior cells? Maybe it's the computer taking more energy!? Maybe its a basic scam in that the cells are simply not as robust quality? Bottom line: I'm OK with this battery because my options are so few, and I guess I'm happy to even have an option. I do think that If there's a next time (my average has been about 2 years per battery pack), I might just go with the cheapest thing out there. Or, maybe I'll finally do what I have threatened to do for years - cut the damn thing open and replace the cells with good Japanese high quality cells! The cost of that might well compel me to get a new laptop for sure. And, it might be moot because the last battery I tried to crack open to inspect and suss out, needed to be destroyed in order to open it up! And I really hate using a cutting torch on a container of Lithium Ion batteries!! Ah, the joys of holding onto things beyond their time ... Now I'm probably going to start to have issues buying body parts for '63 Rambler American!!
