The product seemed good - well made and installed easily. There were no directions, however, and I couldn't find much on the internet. I'm sure an experienced well pump installer would have no problem with it, but as a DIY project a bit of instruction would have been nice. How far above the pump do I install it? Do I clamp the electrical wires inside the pipe clamps or outside? How much do I spread the arrestor out (enough to protect the pump but not so much to get stuck when I need to pull it up years down the road)? A one-page sheet of instructions would have made this awesome for me. I guessed on how to do it and dropped the pump in the well. Hopefully I won't know whether I did it right or not for another 10+ years when I pull the pump out - but if I have occasion to pull it I'll try to come back and update my review.

Works as advertised, as best as I can tell. Pump has not spun, that I know of.

Easy product to install. Make sure to get it tight. We bought a cheap pump to get us by for a few months and when it went out after 3 months we went to remove it it came up a few inches then the torque arrestor broke lose and now is acting like a reverse Chinese finger trap and everything is stuck we had a cable on the pump from when we dropped it down and tried pulling it out with a excavator with no luck. Well guy hooked on to the pipe and pulled with the rig with no luck it. Wont go up or down and its about 180' down. 3200 in a 3 month old well and told theres nothing the well guys can do to get it out told toto cap it and redrill another 3200 down the drain :(

We've never has a well before and so when this came up to get it made sense to but it slipped off the pump then expanded and caught tight to the sides of the well, it took a heavy duty wench and a truck to get it out which it did in pieces but at least we can use the pump and well

This product appears to be made of very good rubber and thick enough to absorb the shock from a well pump 200ft. Under the ground. I had to pull my pump after working for 8 years, the wire finally wore through and caused the 30 amp fuse to blow. I placed the is torque arrest or over the electrical wire splice about 4 inches above the top of the pump. It's crazy that the pump was good but I had to pull 217 feet of pipe and wire out just to fix my wires. Hopefully this arrestor will keep my wires in good order for years to come!

Very good product but I didn’t need it. So I’ll keep it for anothef time
