Love that it fit right in my hand so easy to use. This mini educator is saving my dog from aggression. Tapping for attention and zapp for aggression stop her write away from escalating. Last night we had the best session yet at training. I had to use the negative only 2 time. The rest she was so calm. The trainers were amazed. Life is good again.

Initially, when I saw how much this collar system cost, I questioned my wife. First let me explain: we have four dogs and two are very strong American Staffordshires. We have a had several collars over the years and the last being SportDog (we still have one). This is a good collar and it works as expected but the saying, ‘you get what you pay for’ could not be truer than with the Educator E-Collar. Immediately after opening the excellent packaging and taking out the collar, I could feel the difference in quality and build. The receiver unit was solid a little heavy even and the collar itself was heavy duty yet flexible (it looks as though you could attach a leash, but I will not risk it). The directions tell you to charge for two hours prior to use. I was surprised when the light turned green after only 1 hour. The remote was a bit tricky but once you practice with it, it becomes natural to use. The options/settings are fantastic and I was relieved to see the antenna could be exchanged if broken (a nuisance with many collars). The first time out with the Amstaffs I only needed the vibration to get their attention and with it being nighttime I tried the flashlight function. It was so bright I could see both dogs using only one light! Now I understand why the weight of the receiver. We have now had them for two weeks without any issues and the battery life can go for days but don’t let them completely drain as this may decrease battery life (according to the manufacture). I have the 1 mile collars but have not yet tested the range further than 2- 300 yards. The collars are upper tier priced for dog training collars but after using the Educator E-Collar it is easy to understand why.

Mini Educator IMO is the BEST ECollar on the market! If you want to give your dog the maximum amount of freedom they deserve, this tool with the correct introduction through training can give you and your furry companion just that! Big Big Fan of Educator products! I gifted this unit to my brother who has 2 chocolate labs. This being the 2-dog unit came in handy for Ecollar training with both dogs. You can control 2 receiver collars from afar with 1 remote, comes pre paired as 2-dog unit. Now both labs are Ecollar trained with fantastic recall. And even during those times of high stimulation when that squirl runs by and the dogs decide to be a little pushier on response time, you can always correct from afar to regain their attention to follow through the expectation of the command that was given. It's all about the follow through! Stim or Vibration. I personally use Vibration setting For Recall. An stim/boost control to direct or correct a command. 1-99 in levels, can do some serious fine tuning to give your dog the best experience with Mini Educator Ecollars!!!!

LOVE!! Initially purchased a cheap collar which only worked 3 times. Ended up buying this because of a neighbours suggestion. AMAZING product. Love that it doesn’t shock the dog. Its a weird feeling, I tried it on myself but SO much better than a shock collar.
