Dropped my all-time favorite laptop top down a few months back on a hardwood floor from a height of four feet. When I turned it on, what I feared most had happened. The display was filled with multi-colored diagonal lines. After lots of research I figured out the problem was most likely the screen. Had my husband watch a YouTube video on installation and tried to order a screen from THAT company. lol They wanted $100 for the screen then failed to place the order. I didn't find that out for 2 weeks. I looked on Amazon and found nearly the same screen for $40 with free Prime Shipping. We got it in 2 days, and it only took my husband 10 minutes to install it. Fit like a glove, works like a charm. I'm extremely happy!

The Dell Inspiron N5050 display lid is flimsy and the tabs that keep the bezel in place are easily broken, so take extra care when unsnapping to replace the LED screen. This display was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. Replacement is very straight forward but... it would be helpful if instructions were included explaining proper dis-assembly and the re-use of the double back tape that secures the ribbon cables to the back of the display and proper connector removal and assembly, to help the average user who doesn't replace these every day. Other than the lack of instructions, I would give this display a 5.

This screen works great. Save yourself a lot of money and replace your screen youself. There are many videos on YouTube that show you how to do it. Watch the videos 3-4 times so that you really understand what you need to do. I was quoted $250 to replace the screen by Dell. I did it myself for only the cost of the screen and it was not too difficult!

The screen came in exactly as it was described. It was an excellent and cost-effective replacement. It was very simple to replace and the quality is excellent if not better than the original screen. Although I was surprised when I opened up the screen to find it's an LG brand screen for a dell laptop, but nevertheless it worked and the computer is fixed. The process to replace the screen isn't difficult at all. It's literally unscrew, pop-off and replace. If anyone needs extra help there are plenty of YouTube videos explaining the process. If there's ever a problem I now know where to go. Will recommend!

When our monitor went out we were expecting a hefty price tag to fix it. Our friend just had this done to an older Dell Inspiron and the cost was $160 (installed). I performed the installation myself (super easy). The install took about 20 minutes. The replacement monitor was only $40. Great transaction, fast shipping. We are happy!

I love how you can order online a screen to replace the one on your lap top without going to a repair place and paying a couple of hundred to have them do it. I'm in my 50's with no knowledge of computers. I went on you tube and just followed instructions. It took less than an hour. Just be careful not to lose the screws Theyre very small. I am very happy with this product and recommend everyone give it a shot before going to a repair place. You will save a lot of money.
