Being somewhat handy, I installed it myself. The instructions are pretty useless. They are thoughtful enough to point to two youtube videos which are more helpful, but they also leave a lot out, and they are not for exactly the same model. First, the biggie... I read in the reviews that the wall connections are the same as for a washing machine... they are NOT! And nothing in the instructions or videos mention the size. Washer connections are 3/4 inch, the connections on the shower panel are 1/2 inch. So, after believing the comments, I installed 3/4 inch connectors (with valves, so I could cut off the water right behind the unit), applied sheetrock, got the tiling completed, THEN I find I have the wrong size connections! I bought adapters and spent time getting all the leaks out of those (hint - use pipe dope, not teflon tape). But if you install the correct 1/2 inch connectors it is probably not an issue. Before installing it on the wall, as was mentioned elsewhere, go through the whole unit and tighten ALL the clamps - every one needed to be tightened. Otherwise, it went together pretty easily. My best guess is for the top hoses, put the leftmost hose on the leftmost connector, there is nothing that tells you and the videos are for a different model.One smart reviewer replaced the connection hoses with less stiff ones, if I were doing it again I would do the same. And I would put 3/4 inch connectors on the wall ends of my custom hoses. :) I'm not sure why this isn't made this way, because washing machine connectors are great for this type of thing.The worst part of the job was mounting it to my tile wall. Measure, measure again, measure one more time, then hold the unit up to where you made your marks for one more check. Use a 5/16 inch carbide bit (actually, I used a smaller one, then used the 5/16 to enlarge the hole) or use a 5/16 diamond tip bit. You have to keep the bit wet while drilling, I used a squirt bottle, some use a sponge above the drill bit. It takes a LONG time to wear through porcelain tile, so be prepared for a long session, and there are 8 holes! Again, make sure of your measurements before you start, you don't want to do any additional drilling if you don't have to.Once done, it seems to work well. Of course, there are no instructions on how to use it, you just have to figure it out.4 stars instead of 5 due to lack of good instructions.

I have only used it for two month. Then it starts leaking, damaged the ceiling. I have to find constructor to check what’s going on, it costs lots of money. I called Amazon , they said since it is passed the returned date, so I have to contact Ello&Allo, which doesn’t make sense.

Bought for my children's bathroom. The timer has reduced their shower times, which has already paid for the new shower. The temperature display guarantees no more burns/freezes. Hanged it in minutes.

This will change your entire showering experience. I tightened the hoses and had a plumber install new fittings so it wasn’t a diy option. Looks great and functions perfectly.

The lighted temperature led stopped working within days. It only reads 88 degrees. The upper large jet massage is very weak and barely reaches me. My bathroom water pressure is very strong and I have no problems with any other plumbing fixtures. I would not recommend this product.
