My 8 yr old love this spin-off series. She was quite animated and visibly entertained the whole time reading this series. I was amazed at how she recognized the parallels between this and the whimpy kid series and how it added more depth to the story. That was quite clever. Jeff Kinney's work makes my daughter so so happy. Thank you!

Great books if you like the series.

I purchased regular paper version, and it has strong smells. And the printing inside is not clear in some where.I would recommend to get hardcover, I also purchased hardcover for another book with same series, they don’t have these issues.
