8QT Professional Grade Plantation Products Vermiculite

It is a great product, a little finer granules than I expected, but should work fine for wintering my bulbs.

I use this vermiculite when I'm making Mel's Mix. It works so well.

Exactly what I needed for a good price!

I bought this to mix up my own seed starting mixture and it performed well. There was little to none extra "stuff" in the mixture. It was nice and light as advertised, and worked well to help retain moisture and provide an airy mixture for my seedlings and a few cuttings I was trying to root. Good purchase through Amazon.

Excellent product for planting

This bag is going to last forever! I used this to make my own starter mix and have had excellent results with growing my watermelon, pumpkin, tomato and lemon seeds! My recipe: Approx. A quarter pound spagnum moss, 1 brick of coco peat, 1 cup of vermiculite and 1.5 Tbs of garden lime (to neutralize acid levels of spagnum moss). I just mixed these all together and soaked the mixture until it was all damp before putting in the baskets. Some people use just the coco peat bricks and vermiculite, however the spagnum moss is cheaper.

I'm a repeat buyer of this vermiculite. Works very well to get my seeds growing. Clean and mixes very well. My seedlings tell me they love it.

Use for modeling landscape on my model train board. Easy to use. Paintable.
