Pro: It really does work. You connect it to your computer and it looks like a flash drive. I created a folder on my computer that I put doorbell sounds in. Then I cut out the sounds that came with this, storing them there, just in case. Then I uploaded the doorbell sounds I wanted. Easy as pie.Also, the doorbell button doesn't require batteries. I assume it's piezoelectric, which means it translates the mechanical energy of pressing the doorbell button into enough electricity to send a signal to the receiver. No batteries to replace, and the button is rated at 200,000 presses before failure.Con: Whoever "wrote" the manual didn't speak English. They probably ran it through Google Translate and published that. It's not difficult for a tech to figure out, but if you aren't a tech, find a tech friend before you buy it. For example, the procedure to link the doorbell button to the receiver is very like the procedure to link two Bluetooth devices together. (In fact it may be Bluetooth, not that I am claiming it is.)

recently, many families in our neighborhood had issues with missing packages, and since we live in a 3-floor complex, plus we spend most of our time on the 3rd floor, we often missed the doorbell for our deliveries. To prevent our package got lost, getting a wireless doorbell is the easiest solution to us. Ironically, my first order of this doorbell was stolen...anyways, i got the replacement and installed it right away. i have to say, the installation is piece of cake, which is a plus for a non-tecky housewife like me. the doorbell comes in 8-levels of volume and 32 types of ringtones and many other good features that I wasn't aware at the time of purchase. my only complaint is the font size on the installation manual, they were so tiny I had to use a magnifying glass. Please print them bigger!

Pros:- can add your own mp3 for true customization- no batteries, even in the transmitter- cheapNeutrals (observations that may be helpful for others to know, but weren't terrible):- transmitter takes more force to press than normal for battery-powered doorbells - I haven't seen if any visitors can't get it to work due to confusion yet- transmitter is large - if you have a tight doorway it might not fitCons:- cheap construction - on main body, round central button cover came off. It popped back in, but I'm unsure if it might totally break at some point- poor quality speaker - it's loud, but low fidelity- USB connection was finnicky - I had to unplug/replug a few times in order to get it to show up properly- instruction booklet came only in Chinese, not EnglishOverall, it works, and the customization is a great feature. Worth my purchase price of $15 if I get a couple years out of it before it breaks. It's one of the few wireless doorbells that allows the user to add mp3s currently on Amazon. However, as expected with cheap Chinese consumer items, the build quality is low, and the speaker is as intelligible as a McDonald's drivethrough.

I bought this is because my original doorbell is out of battery. I decided to go with wireless plug in one, and I believe it’s the easy way to do. I search the wirelesss doorbell, and see this one. It looks pretty and good quality as rose gold trim. When I receive it and I love it. It is so easy to install without any fuss. So good and so easy for anyone! You can do it in just few mins. It also can be adjusted to a lower or louder volume. If you need a easy install wirelesss doorbell, I recommend it.

After having my original doorbell at my house ceased to work, I decided to go with a wireless plug in one just in case it broke somehow in the future, it would easily be replaced. I decided to go with this doorbell which matched my house really well, especially with the rose gold trim. Installation was very simple with a strong double sided adhesive tape and I was done with the full installation in just a few minutes. I was impressed with the chime doorbell volume since I live in a larger two story house. It can be adjusted to a lower volume even to Silent but I have it at full and I can easily hear it throughout the house. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

I finally got the unit to be recognized by my computer. I tried 4 USB cables and only one worked. You are then able to transfer MP3's onto the unit. After unplugging and plugging the cable back in shortly afterwards, it wasn't recognized again. I had to wiggle it around alot and then worked again. My son likes it now that it has his favorite song on it.

Only issue was finding a cord that actually worked to upload my own sounds. Read all the reviews before you buy this & be prepared to mess with it before you actually get it to work. All directs are in Chinese. I have mine play clips from the haunted mansion. It’s perfect

This is very simple to install & works flawlessly. The push button is large and come with strong double side adhesive tape. Simply plug in the receiver to any outlet inside your house and you all set! Adjustable volume as loud as you like and a lot of chimes you can choose from! Overall it's great and I'm glad I found this doorbell. I would highly recommend this product.
