4 Months/1 Cartridge Later Review - Not name brand, but same effect - See photos
Well, let's start with the basic: This not the name brand product that you received when you purchased your Watkins HotSprings Hot Tub/Spa. But what they've done is create a company that's called 'hotspring' so that you think it's the same. In reality, when you get the box of these replacement cartridges, they say 'WEBUY" on them. The originals I received when I purchased my Watkins Manufactured HotSprings spa says 'FreshWater" on them. I've attached 2 photos. Rather than immediately send this back, I decided to give these cheaper cartridges a try. My photos show 3 cartridges, 1 is my used (and last cartridge I had) of the original cartridges provided to me when I purchased my Spa new. It says "FreshWater' used. 1 is my used for 4 months (max life) cartridge that you're looking at on this listing. It says "WEBUY" used on it. The 3rd cartridge is the new "WEBUY" cartridge that I'm now putting in my spa for this next 4 months. After four months of use on this cartridge, I feel the water quality and 'feel' is the same as the original cartridge. Although the ingredients are a bit different, seems the smell and feel of the water is the same. The clarity is the same too. No noticeable difference. Now, when you look at my two photos realize that after 4 months of use, the USED WEBUY and USED FRESHWATER both look about the same. Meaning about the same quality of minerals seems to be blended in this water as well. Hope this review helps you make a choice. For the savings, to me these are fine. Although initially a bit deceiving. My opinion.

Great value
These are a great alternative to the original filter from the hot tub store if you are looking to safe some money. We’ve used them multiple times and our hot tub stayed just as clean.

Made by Hotspring or explicitly for that brand and fits well and runs well. Off brands do not work well in our hot tub.
