I absolutely love the Gorich Beach Tent Sun Shelter! It’s incredibly easy to set up, and the UPF 50+ UV protection provides excellent coverage from the sun, which is a must when spending a day at the beach. It also offers great protection from sand, keeping our spot clean and comfortable. My son loves playing inside the tent during our ocean picnics, and it’s spacious enough for the whole family to relax. Lightweight and easy to pack up, this tent has been a fantastic addition to our beach outings. Highly recommend!

This tent was pretty easy to set up, but it is much easier with 2 people. The design is excellent with plenty of room to pull your beach chairs in or sit with multiple people for cards/games. The windows’ design is well done: you can open the windows completely or shut them to your needs. The ‘front door’ also zippers shut which would allow you to actually sleep in it if desired. I have set it up and folded it up twice and it was pretty quick. Be methodical in folding it up and measuring the end result against the length of the pole bag and it will fit back in the carry case just fine. This tent will be great for traveling as can fit in a suitcase.

For the first two uses, this tent seemed great - super easy to set up and put away, perfect size, and lots of flaps for airflow. However, one of the tent poles snapped on only the 3rd use, despite being set up correctly. Gorich customer service was excellent and promptly shipped me a replacement pole. Provided this pole works, we look forward to using this beach tent for many years to come!

UPDATE: I used this for the first time at the beach yesterday. There were occasional gusts of 20 mph. I don’t think the tent would have held up in that wind with just the stakes and built in sand bags. I did, however, have 3 fabric reusable shopping bags that I filled about 3/4 full of sand, tied them closed, and placed them in the corners inside the tent. The fourth corner was weighted down with our beach bag. Having this tent was a game changer and made it much nicer when my kid wanted to stay ALL DAY at the beach while in Hawaii in July. Even with the wind, it wasn’t too hard to set up (I had minimal help from a not too useful 11 year old). It was harder folding it up at the beach than it was when I tried it in my backyard, but I was still able to get it back in the bag. The only negative was it was a little hard to brush the sand off the flap before folding it up - I had to come home and brush it off with a broom. I used a Wekapo beach blanket inside the tent, so luckily most of the sand got on the blanket instead and was super easy to shake off. Overall, I LOVE this tent. It’s small enough to fit in your suitcase or carry on, though to be safe, you should probably pack the stakes in your checked luggage.I almost didn't buy this based on the few negative reviews...so glad I took a chance. I was most concerned about the reviews that said they got fiberglass splinters in their hands from the tent poles. I've now set up and broken down this tent several times and have not experienced any splinters or cuts from the tent poles. I got the 3 person tent and was easily able to set it up and break it down all by myself (I'm a 5'1" 56 year old woman). When setting it up, make sure you're sticking the ends of the tent poles in the smaller hole on the tab - the first time I set it up I stuck them in the larger hole and the poles kept coming out. I had no problem getting the tent back in the bag. You do have to take your time to fold it up neatly - unroll the window shades, flatten out the tent as much as you can, fold it neatly and squeeze out the air as you roll it up - super easy and probably took less than 5 minutes to set up and take it down. You can probably fit 2 beach chairs inside as long as they are low chairs.

Every year I would try a new pop up tent or umbrella that is easy or won’t fly away with wind at the beach and wasn’t happy with any of it. The pop-ups I wasn’t strong enough to fold it back into its small form. The umbrella I couldn’t dig it deep enough into the dirt and still had the metal frame bent with wind. So I decided to go back to the basics and there is absolutely no stress with this product. Love the color. We bought the 3 person one and tested it out indoors first… simple dimple.

This tent worked great! We bought it for our trip to Florida to provide a little shade at the beach. It was easy to set up and take down. I liked how you could open up the sides to let air flow in or keep them short to block the sun a little. It definitely fit 2 adults comfortably- probably could fit 3 if you needed too.

This isn't super easy to set up and tear down. My boyfriend couldn't do it the first time and he works in construction. The second time, he largely ignored the instructions printed in the tent and figured it out. After a few runs he had it down to about twenty minutes. My other tent I can set up solo in five minutes and I'm a klutz.Tearing this down is equally awkward. The bars are connected by an elastic string, so often the edge of the bar catches and the string just stretches. You need to reset pushing this through. Figure about 20 minutes to tear down and it's very hard to get it back in the bag.Without the anchors it doesn't stay well, which is an issue if are on hard packed dirt in the park or something like.There are pockets on the side, which would be convenient if they weren't covered by the window guards. The position is odd. There are also odd hooks and we don't know what they're for. We figured hanging chairs for fairies and hummingbirds.It did a nice job of keeping the sun off of us when we wanted a little shade, and keeping the sand out of our food at the beach. It was just big enough for two adults to sit comfortably. Closed it was a bit snug, but not horrible. It might sleep one adult or two small children if you wanted to go camping with this.It's lightweight, compact, and easy to carry around. If it was easy to set up and tear down it would go on every park trip with me.

Had a great weekend at the beach, packed in my luggage, provided amazing shade for all day beach trip, quick assembly and breakdown. 5 stars

This is great for any trips to the park or beach. It has an open airiness to it while still providing excellent shade. It has windows all around that can be tied closed or left open. It's easy to assemble (very similar to most tents), is durable, anchors nicely. It has enough space for 2-3 people to sit comfortably (depending on everyone's size, of course).The best part is that it's extremely compact when packed away. Very easy to take on any trip.

I didn't want the hassle of a big pop up tent so I purchased this. Set up was easy with one person and it was much bigger than I expected. Love the sand bags at the side to help keep it down in windy weather. Big window vents allow for a nice breeze to flow through. Definitely a good purchase.

We have used this three times, and it has been fantastic for the beach. There has been no issues at all with set up. I was able to set it up by myself without any concerns. Loved that they have window covers that you can open and close to keep the sun from coming in. The material was light weight and was easy to put back into the handy carrying bag. It kept us cool on the 39 degree weather days while out on the beach!
