I ended up using these a lot more than I anticipated. They’ve stayed sharp and are just the right size. The handles are comfortable, stable and are made of quality material.

I couldn’t believe how good of a quality this was for the price. It worked great and it’s great and my tool bag. Also, it looks very good.

I was looking for a good, cheap, long-lasting bolt cutter that I could use to cut 1/8" to slightly larger chains, cables, and protruding bolts and such. In the past I have had to use either a Dremel for bolts, nails and screws, some very heavy duty wire cutters that take a lot of effort, and a hacksaw to do all the things I can now do with this 18" Workpro bolt cutter. Usually I'd try my old, heavy duty, wire cutter on 1/8" aluminum chain, for instance, only to find that all it would do was put a dent in the link. So I'd have to go through my tools to pull out the hacksaw, then I'd have to put the link into a vice for safety and I'd hacksaw away till I cut through. This bolt cutter cuts through the same aluminum chain links as through butter (see picture). It's also good for nails and screws. The only thing it failed to do was properly cut through 1/8" wire cable, that is why I took a star off. I do not recommend it for multi-strand cables because all it does is mush/smash the strands together and spreading them out without really cutting. It does soften the strands a little, but then you have to go back to the cable with a heavy wire cutter to finish the job. I think the problem with cutting stranded cable is that the two cutting surfaces do not "perfectly" and "closely" align. So while they're good for solid items, the miniscule paper-width gap and tiny misalignment are enough for the wire strands to spread out in the gap without getting cut all the way through. The bolt cutter itself is heavy, sold, and seems well made. The soft plastic grips are comfortable to use. After cutting a number of aluminum chain links the cutting edge looks unfazed. I would imagine that if you tried this with stainless steel you might eventually put some nicks into it. Nonetheless, I recommend it for light-use around the house/yard/workshop.

I use this for gardening work, specifically to cut chicken wire. I previously used an ordinary pair of electrical wire cutters, but they were uncomfortable when used for a long period of time. This Workpro cutter is the better solution. It has much better leverage and a comfortable padded grip. Excellent value for the money too.

I purchased have purchased this product 3 times. The first one to use on some silk arrangements I wanted to make for my house. Anyone who has tried to cut through the silk (fake) flowers knows that they use some really large and tough wire in them. These cut through the wire no problem making it easier for me to customize the length that I needed for each flower. I liked them so much I told my sister who is a florist and she had me purchase 2 more for her shop. All together a great durable product.

I forgot the combo to my lock so I ordered this and it worked great. Got through my lock right away.

Disappointed these are not stronger. I wanted them for crafting and use with artificial floras. Just really not strong enough for the job.

Die Zange, die Sie hier kaufen, ist ganz gut für den Hobbyheimwerker. Ab und an mal einen etwas dickeren Draht damit durchknipsen ist kein Problem. Gehört auf jeden Fall mit in jede Werkzeugkiste. Wie Sie auf dem Bild gut erkennen können, ist diese Zange etwas größer als ein normaler Knipser und ist konstruiert wie der große Bruder. Grüße :)
