Q: Are these authentic HEPA vac bags made by Hoover?

On the bag itself it says Hoover Genuine Parts. On the bag and the box it has Made in China...Distributed by Hoover Inc. Also printed on the bag questions call 1-800-263-6376

Q: What is the fabric made of? Fiberglass or polypropylene

according to the Hoover web site polypropylene.

Q: The more recent reviews (year 2012) say they are not getting Q-Hepa marked Hoover bags. What is going on? Would I get Hoover Q-Hepa bags or not?

I noticed this too and at first was hesitant. However, in ordering here I got the Q-Hepa marked Hoover through Amazon and I'm sure you would too so I would not be concerned, but I did not order in large quantity. If you notice at the bottom of the order page there is an ad for getting the Hoover bags in bulk and unmarked which are also on Amazon. It says"Frustration Free Hoover HEPA Q Vacuum Bags Hoover has created a new great value for customers with bulk packs of their most popular HEPA Q Vacuum Bags using Frustration Free Packaging. Each package will contain nine Hoover HEPA vacuum bags delivered in an easy-to-open recyclable box free of plastic "clamshells" and wire ties. Shop Now. I know a number of companies offer their products in bulk and free of labeling at a lower price because it saves them money in production and they are able to pass this savings on to the consumer. Perhaps in 2012 some of these bags were sent in regular orders in error or in filling an order when they ran out of those marked Hoover. I have not seen any postings in 2013 that had this problem, so perhaps they fixed this mixup in orders that was causing a problem back then. I have to say though, if I went through more bags than I do I would try the unmarked ones as they do seem to still be Hoover....but will admit I'm a trusting soul. ;)
