I have had hip surgery and it didn't go well. I bought this chair specifically to use for fishing and it is without a doubt the best chair I have tried. I actually use this chair in my fishing boat and it fits perfectly, is all day comfortable and well made. What I like best is that is doesn't sag as much as other folding chairs. Makes it much easier for me to get out of. Only negative is that it is somewhat prone to losing the nuts that hold it together. I fixed this by using some locking nuts. This is my second one of these chairs. Lost the first on when it flew out of my boat during towing. I guess someone found a great chair along the side of the road!

I bought this chair as a gift for my boyfriend, and he loved it! In addition to taking it fishing with him, he even uses it in the house when he plays video games, because it can fit in his room and is a very comfortable recliner. Hes had it almost two months now and has no issues with it all. I will say that the chair is a bit heavy for me to lug through the woods, but my boyfriend has never complained about this, so I guess its simply about how strong you are. I absolutely recommend this chair to anyone who wants a great gift for a fisherman in their lives.Edit: Nine years later, my now husband is STILL using and enjoying this chair. It basically still looks brand new, even the little pivoting feet have held up beautifully. I'm gonna continue to highly recommend it!

I love this chair it's a tad heavy but oh so sturdy .The adjustable front legs are great along the bank finally level seating !orA reclining back, rod holder is pretty good . Learned to use the carry strap by emailing Earth Products . They emailed photographs of how it attaches. thank you so much for a great product I would definitely recommend this to a friend!

The chair was delivered much sooner than specified which was great. It is a bit bigger than I expected, but is very comfortable and stable. The front telescopic legs work very well even for quite steep and slippery (loose sandy and rocky earth) slopes. There are two improvements I would suggest. First is a simple written instruction on how to attach the tote strap to the chair. This has been mentioned a few times by other customers. It took me a little while to figure it out and it is quite simple, but not intuitive. Just loop each end of the strap around the frame of the chair onto itself and clip to the ring on the end of the strap. Do that on each end. Second, design a way to attach the rod holder to the chair when the chair is folded up for carry or storage. In order to fold up the chair, the rod holder has to be detached from its position on the side of the chair. How do you carry it or put it away conveniently close to the chair ? When you carry the chair to your fishing site, you'll be holding quite a few items in your hands ... fishing rods, a net, a bait box, a cooler and an arm to keep the folded chair in place. I hope the manufacturer will take note of this. It's a good product, but it can be even better.

This is an amazing chair, great choice for fishing, relaxing in the shade while you fish or just taking a nap. I love this chair and I would recommend it to anyone!

Awesome chair, lite but a bit awkward & bulky if you are hauling it to a fishing spot. In short, this is not a compact chair. That said, the chair seems like it would sit comfortably and even reclines to allow you to snooze a bit whilst waiting for the big catch. The front legs retract and extend, which indeed is a nice option while fishing on a lake that has been drawn down as they do in California during the rainy season. Hey, with all the options for fishing chairs available, i would give this a 7.

We like to go fishing and the chair with the high back, adjustable legs, and rod holder help us fish for longer periods of time. It is so comfortable!

I have purchased three of these wonderful chairs. We use then when we have family over for socially distancing get together in our backyard. In addition I put one on my deck and use it for napping. The reclining position is perfect for this. Great chair, great price, buy several!
