Do you have a problem with reed consistency? Do you have to throw away one or two, or even four or five reeds from every box of big brand reeds? Do some of your reeds play like they're made out of pine instead of cane? I don't know if the single plantation source has anything to do with it, but these reeds all play. No trimming, scraping, or cutting necessary. The other thing that's nice is you won't feel like Goldilocks with this reed just a little too hard and the next one just a little too soft. Gonzalez reeds come in 1/4 strengths. As the sax guru says, "Remember to keep your reeds wet."
