This is a fine product worth every penny. This is not a two, three, or four star item review; it is either a one (lemon) or a five stars item; either it does or doesn't do what it is supposed to do. Therefore, in my opinion, this is a five star item. It is made of sturdy light plastic, just like the Ruger item, so don't expect they are good for hammering down any nail or bouncing up on rock or cement floors without damage. I really don't think they are unbreakable. Installing it was a breeze, even though Garrison provides a web-link and good instructions for fitting the thing within the package, for the novice. Now, man, woman and daughter can really shoot the little LCP how it is supposed to be. Forget the other micro extensions. Ever wonder why-oh-why, does Ruger provide a useless micro extension in the first place? Don't get me wrong, I really liked the detail, but it just left me wanting for something really meaningful. This Garrison extensions are just right, not an inch too much, nor less; comfort at grip is more than adequate, after all, you are not making love to the thing. Ruger owners are missing a good thing here (by the way, Midway is missing it also). I bought two for my household and another couple for my big brother's household as a gift. Perfect for the second pocket backup.Just remember that they only fit in the original Ruger clips, and that you have to sacrifice a little of the LCP concealment when you carry (due to the long "lip" extension of the Garrison), but the benefit outweighs that little sacrifice. In fact, even fitted with the extensions, I still carry the LCP comfortably in the front pocket of my jeans, inside my Blackhawk! Size 1 holster; whenever I draw, inside stays the holster and out goes the little rascal, so I didn't have trouble with them. Some might use them as "gun range" magazines only, and put in that practice time that is always needful in a comfortable way. I use them now 24-7, although take note that my review is not 6 months old. I coupled this addition to my LCP with an inexpensive customized Hogue grip and voila. Who needs now a LC380?? Garrison has rendered the LC380 obsolete for under 30 bucks. The price is good enough for just checking them up, even if someone is later disappointed, and I think that is unlikely.Seller take note: you should allow yourselves a good photo in Amazon with a Ruger fitted with your item in the hand of a male and female shooter.Buyer take note: there are some good photos and "...tubes" of the item at Yahoo, check them out first if you want. The original Ruger clip extension is just:1/2"; a replacement with extension is the same; not enough for the "pinky". The Garrison extends 1&1/4" in the long lip side and the standard 1/4" at the grip zone. A good photo would really help you guys. I had to guess, but I was not disappointed.I like it when I guess at Amazon and it works. I didn't have to go to any store and shipping-delivery was speedy FAST. THANKS, Garrison for your product and Amazon for the usual excellent service to online customers.

They definitely give you the extra reach you need.
Not too bad to install if I had a little more experience in doing so. But they do exactly what I was expecting.

Excellent!
Excellent! The LCP is a really good pocket gun, and if I were a smaller person, I may not have wanted these grip extenders. My LCP came with two different magazine butt plates for each mag, one with a bit of an extension, which might be just right for a smaller hand, especially for a woman. My hand is so large I was barely able to grasp the grip with just two fingers, so control was very difficult. These grip extenders allow me to get three fingers on the grip, which permits better control (truthfully, a pistol this small, with a barrel this short, has so little mass (this gun only weigh about nine ounces) in such a short pitch radius, that recoil control is difficult no matter what...so anything that aids control is welcome indeed.) These grips were super easy to install (if you can assemble a ball point pen, you can do this), they are very lightweight, and they are not showing any signs of wear. AND, I am still able to easily carry the firearm in a pants pocket (which is legal in Arizona). I have no issues at all. I recommend them to anyone who owns an LCP.

Much Better Than Stock, But.....
Just got these grips in. Much better than the Pearce Grip extension as I now got a full grip with three fingers on the LCP which makes for much better and accurate shooting with this "mouse" gun. I use a Soft Armor IWB holster so there is no issue for me with "pocket carry" fit. Price is right for two pack of these grips on Amazon. The only down side which another reviewer mentioned here "is that it is kinda kicks out at the bottom instead of going straight down. So it feels as if there is a curve in it. So when you hold the pistol tight, it feels as if your pointing downward almost", which I agree with. There is another LCP long grip extension sold called "Adams Grips" on Ebay at $21.00 each (one). Much, much higher priced but appears there is no downward tilt and it is a full magazine width throughout so there is no quarter magazine width partial look like on the Garrison. Will update here when I get it.UPDATE 7/08/12: Just got in the Adams Grips for the LCP and I really like these much better than the Garrison Grips. While the Adams Grips has no ribbing cuts in front for your fingers like the Garrison, the grips go straight down in front , no curve to them. These grips are also a FULL magazine width (actually as wide as the lower Ruger gun grip) which means the palm of your hand has much more to grip on. It is also about 1/4" longer than the Garrison so it would help those with wider/thicker fingers. Since it is a true full width extender, it probably would carry in your pocket better than the "hook" shape on the Garrison.

Great grip. Grippity-do-dah
I can now get my entire hand on the grip. I haven't been to the range since installing them, but it has got to make an improvement in handling and accuracy. I had forgotten that one of my magazines was a Pro Mag. I don't think I will buy any more of them. I must have gotten it and the Ruger mag swapped at the range. I have noticed that I have to put some pressure on the Pro Mag to get it to seat in the pistol. Anyway, I unloaded the mag and snapped the new grip on it. When I tried to put the mag in the pistol, no bueno. I ended up grinding about half of the material off the top of the grip before it would go in. That is when I realized that it wasn't a Ruger mag. I snapped the other grip on the Ruger mag and it clicked right into place in the pistol. No modification. Great, perfect fit. The Pro Mag is my backup magazine now. Ruger only from here on out.
