It's ok
One recipe calls for 207 marshmallows...hmmmm ok. While there are a lot of recipes I won't make, there are some that sound really yummy.

Love this cookbook!!!
I just received last week and I did already make the mixed berry pie which was a huge hit for the whole family! I didn't even serve with ice cream. Very easy to make and made the house smell amazing we couldn't even wait to let it cool. While many recipes are geared towards summer, I did also see an apple pie recipe and lost of morning dishes such as cinnamon rolls, so I can see myself baking from this book all year long. The pictures and stories are beautiful too. I am so excited to try more of these recipes and definitely recommend!

Beautiful book!
Have only tried one thing so far (the strawberry-rhubarb crisp), but it was wonderful. Can't wait to try the rest.

AN UTTER DELIGHT
This book has it all - easy to read format (ie a font large), stunning photography; unique recipes and very interesting anecdotes thrown in - a bonus for me, as I don't like cookbooks with just a load of text on every page. You will quickly find yourself absorbed - as I was, sitting out in the garden on a balmy day deciding which of the lovely recipes to bake first (a difficult decision). Those that I have tried thus far are:Bourbon Fudge Brownies (Page 96) - NOT for the kiddies!!!Caramel Apple Skillet Cake (Page 203) - very quick to rustle up (particularly if you use tinned apples, as I did!)There are (mostly) recipes for smaller cakes, tray bakes and sweet pies but as someone who favours baking large cakes over anything else, the Caramel Apple Skillet Cake - made when friends arrived unexpectedly - made it for me.This book is suitable for someone starting out baking - or someone who's a little experienced and wants to expand his/her repertoire - as the recipes aren't complicated, are easy to read and don't require lots of expensive ingredients.I'm very glad I bought this book. You will be too.
