12V Permanent Magnet DC Motor, 30W 3500RPM High Speed CW/CCW Electric Gear Motor for DIY Generator, Micro Speed Reduction Geared Motor

Built a little desk tool for deburring parts, had to find a different adapter for the end, but it was a standard size so it's worked really well with a desk 12v supply I use. Not loud, does get warm after extended use. Great little project motor.

This little 12v dc motor worked GREAT for my project. I turned an old exercise bike into a generator. The spindle rests on the bike flyweel and turns the motor. You barely have to pedal to generate power. I tested with a volt meter and you are getting the full 12 volts. I LOVE that there is a mounting bracket. Comes with allen wrench and 2 extra motor brushes. My only complaint is the set screws came out while I was configuring the motor. They are so small they literally disappeared. I ended up drilling a small hole through the spindle and sticking a piece of wire through. Highly recommend this motor if making a generator!!!!

I love the fact that it's extremely quiet for the application I was using for. It will be put to the test over the next few months to see how it holds up.

A bit skeptical at first so I just ordered one motor. Had to use pvc spacers to fit the motor in the snap fan brackets. Also needed a 2 1/2” hose clamp to hold the motor in place. Very easy adapter for sure. The motor has been running for two weeks solid and even with 110 deg heat in the green house the motor is running cool. I just ordered two more for my other two broken motors. Very happy with this purchase.
