The tool works a treat, under the right conditions. It's best to use this on soil, a few hours or a day after a heavy rain. Came packaged in a plastic bag. It seems sturdy enough, but will keep putting it to the test over time, and edit this review accordingly if needed.Plan an area for grass removal (I used a 1mtr ruler, and sticks/string to create straight lines and curves), and carefully and precisely, put the tool in the ground, applying medium pressure with your foot.There is a small lip on the tool, which indicates ground level. Use a flat spade to place under the cut you've made and slide it underneath, taking a slab of grass away from the ground.I've had great results, and have an area ready for planting some bare root shrubs.The tool is lightweight, easy to clean and store, and is high enough for average height users. There regrettably, isn't a way to adjust the height of the pole, for taller folks (I am 5'5).Recommended. :)L

This is very poor quality and badly manufactured I used this once and the blade snapped off the handle,the edging blade is very poor quality.
