Poor suction..
Ordered the 9/12mm.. come to find out the actual intake tube is the max size (19/25mm). Suction is quite poor because of the pipe difference, so skimmer doesn’t work either.

Best 17mm skimmer glass pipe for short tanks
I have purchased 20 or so lily sets over the years, and this is the first time I am leaving a review. I like 20g long tanks, but for the past years I was not able to find a glass return with skimmer that didn't go too far down into the aquarium. Yes I could find a smaller diameter pipe, but I like to over filter all my tanks. My Fluval 307's come with 16/22 hose fittings. If you see the large shot of my tank, the inlets go down a perfect distance for this popular sized tank. As for the workings of the skimmer, it is the same as any other. It has a plastic dial at the bottom and a plastic skimmer crown. Both function well. I love that the O-ring is clear for the bottom dial. I really have no negatives here. It fits on both rimmed and rimless tanks and the glass is reasonably thick. I am happy I took a chance on this item.

I like the size, the material and functionality.
The media could not be loaded. I like the size, the material and functionality.I had to regulate the suction flow very well, to allow th skimmer to absorb water through the skimmer and from the bottom, so that it's work is perfect and the water surface is clean, I'm very happy and satisfied with this purchase.

Amazing, but hard to clean
I love this lily pipe because of the surface skimmer. You do have to have it perfectly straight and at a good elevation for the skimmer to work well, but once you set it up it's really nice.I would give this a 5/5 if cleaning it was easier. The left/right tubes are easy to clean, but the center one is giving me trouble because I can't get any of my flexible bristles in there (from either side). I use a quick-release valve for my tubing specifically because I don't want to have to disconnect the lily pipe from the tube each time I clean it, but that might be the only option, which isn't good.

Does not skim
The skimmer doesn’t work for me. I have a powerful filter. Am oase bio master 350 and the skimmer doesn’t it work.
