I’ve been using coco coir for years. I’ve always thought coco coir is coco coir; it doesn’t matter who makes it. But this brand blew me away. Other brands are a pain to hydrate and it takes forever to break up the clumps, rinse out the tannins and squeeze out the extra water. If I don’t use the soil right away of other brands, it’s so wet usually that it starts to smell.This brand is amazing. Pour a little water on it, and it literally blows perfectly moist soil off the block by itself, without me having to do anything. It took me less than two minutes to make a bus tub full. (2 blocks in tub) It is the perfect moisture and ready to use. (I add perlite and worm castings. ) I will NEVER buy another brand again.

So easy! The bricks arrived well packed & in great condition. I poured hot tap water over the bricks & they expanded before my eyes. What was left was fluffy black dirt. No bugs. No chemical smell. We used it to plant 5 varieties of vegetables & the whole project was complete in under 2 hours. There was no delay for the soil to expand. It produced more usable soil than I anticipated. We used 15 bricks total for the whole project - French beans, carrots, giant pumpkins, beets, & zucchini.

this product works great using in my raised beds with potatoes and container blueberries and raspberries, plus my tomatoes, I would highly recommend this product to anyone works better then peatmoss, will recommend you get a mixing tub from the Home Depot to wet this product in this works better and let sit for 24hrs to let some of the moister evaporate it works better when not very wet easier handing.

I've never used coconut coir before, but I can say that I really like these bricks! We just built a new house and are planting our plants outside and I'm using these along with soil, compost and earthworm casings to help the plants establish well. We have horrible soil here in the SW and this rich mix looks great. Shipping was quick and I like that I can get 5 bricks for a good price. Crossing my fingers for a good outcome!

I really like this item because it takes the place of peat-mos or planter soil or dirt. and will not leave your hand dirty.

I've bought this time and again because it's good. It's uniform, taking 2-2.5 gallons of water to reconstitute to workable material. My new start plants love it, before they would mold. They have not molded since I've started using this! I also mix it with my compost and dirt, giving a little balance to the heavy dirt. 1-2 bricks (reconstituted) even out 2 cu ft of dirt well.

OMG....this soil is great....I mixed it with a little potting, to ensure drainage, and haven't had to water my flowers for a month. They are gowing like crazy....got more coming and going to try seeds and bare roots next....see what happens 😀

Great product! The coir expanded very quickly and makes for a great add in for my garden soil. After moistening, it mixed in easily. Great water retention also. Great price for this much coir. Will definitely purchase again.
