This pa system is AWESOME !!! We got this system for our pool party’s which we normally have quite a few people at & this one, its first job was my sons 4th birthday party with about 35 people & knocked it out of the park !! We were using an older pa i had from my musician days & having a cord connected to my iphone & then into the pa just wasn’t working, with this speaker the bluetooth function is perfect, it was completely effortless to hook up, turned it on, my phone found it immediately & uninterrupted music for the next 7 hours ! Sound quality is HUGE for me & having an equalizer as well as the volume really makes a difference & brings it up to a better level ! The stand is basic but works great ! The volume is PLENTY in fact i had it at about 4&1/2 and was perfect with 35 or so people talking & splashing in the pool, i wish i got it sooner ! I don’t really mind the big ‘a’ on the front of it & it lights up as well on the bass beats, pretty cool, of course you have the option to turn that off if your not into it ! Its even loud enough, to test it, i played my music thru the bluetooth & played along with my drums & could still hear it fine with live drums & that volume was just under 4 ! Very clear, very crisp & natural sound ! Can’t say enough about it, i would absolutely recommend 100 % !!! I feel like i got a great deal for the money !!! Looking forward to using it for the rest of the summer !!

I bought this to use for gigs and parties as a DJ. I purchased this particular speaker because it seemed to be the best value at this price point. I like that it has a built in amplifier so I didn't need to go out and purchase an external one, I can plug my Pioneer DDJ-1000 directly into this speaker via RCA connections and I'm ready to go. For large house parties I connect this speaker to a Seismic Audio Baby Tremor 15inch powered subwoofer and the sound is phenomenal. I DJ primarily hip-hop/rap and EDM music (mainly dubstep) which are arguably two of the most bass heavy genres and this speaker combined with my subwoofer delivers great low end bass. For smaller parties and private get togethers this speaker performs just fine without the subwoofer. I've had it this speaker for about 4 months now and it's met all of my needs thus far. Although I don't use the bluetooth feature very often, I like that it has it. The speaker comes with a stand, but as others have mentioned, it's not the best quality so be cautious when using it. I did not get much use out of the included stand because I use a subwoofer attachment shaft so my speaker typically sits on top of a pole connected to my subwoofer for my gigs. The speaker is surprisingly light for its size, and it has wheels and handles on the top and sides of the speaker, which gives it great portability.

I bought this speaker as a plug-in auxiliary speaker for my karaoke/PA speaker because the karaoke speaker alone was inadequate for large rooms and large outdoor spaces. The auxiliary speaker worked great after I experimented with the adjustments. I found the directions to be unclear. After being properly adjusted the speaker has rich, clear, strong, sound. It's pretty heavy, but I'd rather it be heavy and have good quality sound than be light with poor sound. I've dealt with that with other speakers. I think the adjustment knobs of this speaker could be larger and it would be better if they were on the front, rather than on the back. That being said, I found that if I adjust the volume to the maximum setting, I can use the volume control on my karaoke speaker to increase the volume of both speakers, so I don't have to deal with adjusting the small knobs of the auxiliary speaker. As the volume of the karaoke speaker goes up, the auxiliary speaker volume goes up as well. The volume of the auxiliary speaker when it's used by itself is not very strong but is very strong when adjusted with the karaoke control. An unexpected fun feature is that the light on the speaker is synchronized to the beat of the music being played. The speaker stand is very sturdy, but you must be sure to insert the pin on the neck of the stand to prevent it from collapsing unexpectedly. The wired microphone that comes with the speaker is clearer and more responsive than the wireless microphones that came with my karaoke speaker. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, but gave a four rating rather than five because of the few minor cons I mentioned. Don't expect the speaker to sound great right out of the box. Some tweaking will be needed, and a second speaker may need to be incorporated.

Since my mother-in-law moved in with us last May, she has pretty much taken over our living room home theater and spends her days getting sloshed on cheap chardonnay while watching TV about 16-18 hours a day. My wife has taken to retreating to our bedroom upstairs to watch TV on the little 26" TV we had up there. So, for Christmas this year I installed a new 55" 4K TV, a 4K upscaling blu ray player, a JBL SB100 sound bar and this fantastic little JBL Arena S10, 100-watt subwoofer in our bedroom. When I demonstrated the new system for my wife, she was amazed by the clarity and the output of the subwoofer, as the floor under her feet thumped and vibrated heavily with sounds of The Band's live concert, "The Last Waltz" blu ray disc that I was using for the demontration. She was concerned that it might be disturbing her mom downstairs while she was watching TV in our living room. My wife went downstairs to check and see how much sound vibration was coming through the bedroom floor/ceiling above the living room and apparently it was thumping pretty good, even at the low volume I had it on. She asked my mother-in-law if it was bothering her, to which my mother-in-law replied in a rather annoyed tone, "Well, if I knew that was going to be going on, I certainly wouldn't be sitting here trying to watch TV!" Mission accomplished. Two birds with one stone/JBL subwoofer. My wife is happily enjoying her new bedroom theater system and my mother-in-law is getting a taste of Karma. Thank you, JBL! Your speakers have NEVER disappointed me.

Works great as a portable microphone option where you have power available. Used it for bluetooth music and the audio quality/bass is good.

No way has 2800w

I don't like the microphone that came with the speaker it as being broken. I was so disappointed when I saw the head as open. This is not good for customers.
