I wasn't sure if it was worth getting this, but I am glad I did. It's easy to use one handed and the top stays on securely while being easy to remove when you need to. The plastic is high quality and easy to keep clean. It stays airtight and keeps my cats' food fresh.

Excellent container to store pet food. I needed something on my counter big enough to hold lots of food but small enough not too take up too much room, so this was perfect. It is tall and leaves more horizontal space on my counters. It also has an air tight top that works as lock for in case pets or small children try to feed themselves.

Works great. Don’t believe the all the negative reviews regarding the lid not creating a vacuum seal, then you watch the videos of them trying to lift the container full of food by the lid and being shocked that the lid wouldn’t stay on. These people made me almost not buy this product because they are expecting some Mission Impossible level of vacuum from a consumer product. Listen, you can try it with an empty container and see that it works perfectly fine. But what some people seem to expect is that you would be able to carry it around by the lid with pounds worth of food in it. From a $20 product? Really? No, it works great for what it was made for, which is to store food. If you want to hang your body weight off the seal of the lid, then you may be disappointed.

I needed something to store my cat’s food (we have a massive bag from Costco and I don’t feel like digging into it every day anymore). This container is great!!! I love the scoop and that it clicks into the lid. Very efficient. The seal seems to keep the food fairly fresh as well.

Love the size and that it won't break.(previously had a glass container which I broke) got this for dog food. Holds alot. But doesn't seal like another one I got that was similar. But I'm keeping it and hope her food doesn't go stale.

I have four cats and three kinds of cat food because they all want something different on any given day. And the containers I was using were mismatched and in the pantry. I had the idea to get some nice matching containers, and then later came up with the shelf idea which I will also review. A 6 pound bag easily and come with the cutest little clear scoop that is just perfect for cat size bowls. I think these would also be great for rice, cereal, sugar, and flour etc.. They are very modern and beautiful and I highly recommend them they came packaged very professionally and shipped quickly.

Have purchased OXO products for kitchen use for years and like their other products, the quality of this container doesn't disappoint. I was searching for a dog food container that was airtight, BPA-free and could easily be stored and carried even when full of kibble. This container is approximately 12" high with a width and depth of just over 6". The lid has a button that you push in to seal and push in again to release and easily open. No more worries of knocking over or dropping the container and having its contents spill everywhere when you're rushing to feed your hungry beasts first thing in the morning.

I love love love this. I'm using for dog food. It's a pretty container and keeps things very fresh!! And it holds over 4 lb of dry dog food. I may buy more. Great looking. Great organizer. Easy to label.

I bought it to put not pet food but my huge ass rice bag. It fit almost all of the 4.5kg bag with the measuring cup attached to the lid and all of it if you ditch the measuring cup attached. I really like the oxo containers :)

Very convenient to store my dogs food without going in the cupboard each time.Smaller than I thought but I do have a small dog so filling up the container should last a couple of weeks for me.
