These are amazing! We bought these to cut up and put in our raised beds that have strawberries. Cats keep doing their business in and around the strawberries so we tried these to keep them out and they completely work!

I rescued a mama cat and 3 of her 5 babies a couple of months ago. The babies were 10 weeks old and are now about 5 months old. These are special kittens, in that I've never met more stubborn, bullheaded, or troublemaking cats in my life. In fact, they are named Chaos, Mayhem and Havoc for exactly this reason - they have overrun my house. Honestly I'm MOSTLY okay with that, except I do NOT tolerate cats on the countertops, kitchen table or coffee table. I have tried EVERYTHING, water, noise, sticky pads, you name it. These seem to do the trick, as long as I can keep them in place. I found rubber banding one to the lid of the trashcan works (so far), and I plan to use painters and/or packing tape to keep others in place as needed.I appreciate that they're significantly larger than other cat deterrents and I was able to snip then easily with a wire cutter, though I think scissors will do it too. My only irritance is they arrived slightly damaged, which makes it difficult to attach them, and some won't sit perfectly flat.1st photo is the one on my trash can, 2nd is this product compared to a competitor for size reference. Pics 3-4 show slight damage on arrival (the box is intact so I'm guessing this happened prior to being boxed/shipped). Last photo is Mayhem, Chaos and Havoc living up to their names in my shower.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Cat spikes for my kitchen counters and tall dining chairs. Cats shredded Italian leather and these finally stopped them jumping up on them but they had to be on my table and chairs all the time. Used on kitchen counters as well but as soon as remove cats went right back. So only a real deterrent if always out. Not so much a trainer. Served their purpose.

Easy to work with. There are short blunt projections on one side and taller slightly pointed on the other. Theyre not sharp enough to damage cats pads but are uncomfortable to walk on so they avoid them. They work great. No more inappropriate urination. Counters are avoided now. Terrific investment.

Did not work even a little bit. Got the mats to cover the carpet around my desk as the cats have been sneaking there to poop and pee. It's worth noting the litter box is one room away. Literally the morning after installing them I found poop smack dab in the center. Did not seem to deter them at all. Very disappointing

It was great to keep the cats away from our baby blue bird.
