Electrical Test Light 6V 12V 24V DC Fuse Circuit Diagnostic with Green Led Light

Purchased for automotive electrical troubleshooting of lights wiring. Works well for testing circuits but the coiled cord is too stiff to stretch without pulling the clamp off of the car's metal. Other wise a good value.

I was skeptical at first, being that this unit didn't really look like the other 12V probe type testers I have. But I thought I'd give it a chance. Well, I'm glad I did. It has a nice, strong alligator clip for the ground end and, the coiled section seems long enough to stretch for maybe 2.5' or more without rubber-banding. It also comes with an additional tip that screws on to the probe. It's an aligator clip that clips onto your hot source. I suspect that's so you can leave things connected at both ends, while the light is on and, you can wiggle wires, connections etc. to see if you have any and that will cause the light to go out, indicating you have a bad connection and, you don't have to hold both ends AND wiggle wires or connections. Just a thought.
