I know some other people were having issues with similar products not working, but these are very sensitive and fantastic. Easy to use and easy to read - not finicky like a pregnancy test. They colors match up well to the guide on the bottle. They’re a must buy if you’re starting keto and need to get a read on if you’re on the right track or kicking yourself out of ketosis. I test a few times a day to see if I’m eating too many carbs for my body and I’m on week 3 of keto. They help to see how quickly you recover from cheat meals as well.

I received the item March 15, 2023 and the product expiry date on the box was March 13, 2023. I had to return it. Would still like to have the product, but now the price has gone up. I am also uncertain if I order it again whether I will get product that is not expired or soon to be expired.

Overall very consistent. Readings exactly what I expected. Very useful and neat to see my body entering ketosis as I started for the New Year. I initially tested with 2 strips at once for a few days, just to make sure I was getting consistent readings. Every test was consistent and exactly what I expected. Also, my ketone readings would go down in proportion with the amount of carbs I would eat while still staying under 50g. For example if I had a couple glasses of milk that day, at night before bed my ketone readings would be minimal. But then if I was really strict and had close to 0g of carbs, my ketone readings would be deep purple on the strip. Exactly as expected.

The readings are not even close to being accurate.

I have used Amazon since the early 2000s and have relied on user feedback to make my purchasing decisions. I have found that the Amazon community is right on. I have not, however, done my part to provide ratings to help others make their decisions. This is just one of many ratings that I have needed to provide. My strategy is to provide a numerical rating when there is not much more to say, except it worked as designed, was well made, and did not have any obvious flaws. I will provide more elaboration when needed to support a rating, good or bad. For this item, however, I think just a score will suffice.
