Must have!!
EVERYONE NEEDS THIS BOOK SET! I saw this posted in a homeschoolers group because it was on sale. I’ve never bought something so quick, and this was my first time hearing of it. I am SO happy with this purchase. Each book is so well made, the case it comes in is SO sturdy, and the bonus prints are beautiful! I’ve purchased several boxed sets of books and the case cake in split or cracked - NOT THIS ONE! This box is sturdy and the books are too. I love the information included as well. I grew up a farm kid, and I didn’t know so much of the included details! This is basically an encyclopedia set for kids, and it’s so thorough and beautifully illustrated. I would highly recommend for kids and adults alike - and homeschooled or not. There is so much info in these books that I never learned in a public school. I also love that the author includes her own information about why she wrote them and how she gathered the information. It’s so unique and down to earth.

So pretty
I love these books so much. They are informative with amazing illustrations and it’s a fun way to show things to my toddler. I have been some homeschool companion books for them that we may do when our kids are older.

Legitimately good for adults and kids
These books are a beautiful set. They name a great coffee table set for adults or a great set to introduce kids to topics. They are good quality and nicely illustrated. They have a host of topics discussed in each book separated into chapters and broken down into more specific subjects for every 2-3 pages in the chapter. They’re is more illustration than words, so for my 4 and 6yo, it’s fine as far as looking at pictures and starting to talk about things. The content is simple but more advanced and would be more easily understood by 5/6th grader, and I plan to use it as long term source of information and way to inspire curiosity in my kids. For myself, I like looking through it to learn some new interesting information or refresh myself on some stuff I learned in grade school. The prints that come with the set are nice as well and come printed in a thick card stock, though they are not a common size just a little shy of an 8x10. I plan to just get a floating frame for those I want to put in the wall

Homeschool Staple
Like many others, I bought this to use for homeschool. Its our first year homeschooling our 1st grader and 3rd grader, so I was nervous to invest the money but I'm so glad I did! These books are appropriate for both ages and we found a curriculum to go with them so we can teach straight from these. The visuals and quality is AMAZING! Zero regrets with this purchase and highly recommend for anyone homeschooling!

Perfect for homeschooling, or nature journaling!
I am so happy with my purchase! I homeschool and next school year I will be doing Nature Journals for the first time with a 3rd grader, and a Kindergartner. We have already started doing this at the end of this year and they love it! I will be so happy to use the various subjects as they come up and use this book as a reference. The simple drawings are good for reference when drawing our own things. I feel like the books are smaller than they seem online, but in reality they are perfect size for children. I love how the information is brief and the pictures are detailed. Some things we will likely never use, but as an adult they are fun to look at. I feel this book could be good for a nature loving adult, or for a child and homeschoolers. I was bummed to realize the Ocean book didnt come with this set, but I bought separate and am eagerly looking toward its arrival.

Love this series! Beautiful illustrations and Great scientific overview!
Our favorite of the 3 books is Nature Anatomy, but they're all wonderful and I'm glad we bought the set. I was also delightfully surprised that this set came with a set of stand alone illustrations from the books! I bought these to use with homeschool for my 9 year old and 5 year old this year and we've already used them a ton! The one we return to most is Nature Anatomy. We've also used Farm Anatomy some. We haven't used Food Anatomy nearly as much, though, like I say, I have no regrets about buying the set. I have noticed that there is some cross over/repeat illustrations/info (I've mostly noticed it in Nature Anatomy/Farm Anatomy. I'm not bothered by it, I just thought I'd mention it. As an educational resource I feel like these are a great introduction/overview, but not a lot of depth to the information. This isn't to say we haven't used them a lot (we have!), just that it's not an exhaustive resource. We use this as a reference and a jumping off point and then often check out books from the library about specific topics that we want to learn more about in depth. Great books! Highly recommend!

Would make a wonderful gift for any age
I have borrowed this book from my local library so many times, it was just the matter of time to finally purchase them. I had no idea that it came with 10 prints which was a pleasant surprise. Very detailed yet soft touch of Julia Rothman’s illustrations are so beautiful. These anatomy books are great for kids and adults. Almost like dictionary books with illustrations. Would be a great homeschooling and teaching resources. My favorite page is the life cycle of frog and differences between frogs and toads. (Nature anatomy page 202)
