Good value
As I weigh around 135 kilos, I spent a long time browsing various sites with chairs rated to take my weight, particularly as in the past I have found the first thing to fail is the gas lift.Because it is virtually impossible to test a particular chair for comfort, I decided to buy a cheaper chair in case I needed to upgrade in the not too distant future. As per previous reviews, the chair comes well packed, with clear instructions. All bolt holes align well and after previous experience with flatpacks I have found it is better to leave final tightening until assembly is complete there were no problems.I have used this chair for around 5 hours per day for a month and had no problems. I found the back very supportive and have had no problem with the tilt or height adjustment.I have given 4 stars for comfort and sturdiness as probably because of my size the seat could be a little wider and the padding is insufficient for long term comfort. Whilst I wanted flip up arms, they are plastic and I have grave doubts on their durability if I should forget myself and attempt to use them to lever myself out of the chair.Update 21st January 2020 Gas lift is starting to fail. Even though raised and locked, has sung to its base point three times in the last two days!I finally got fed up with the failing gas lift and considered any replacement would suffer the same result.Consequently I adjusted the seat to the required height, cut off the decorative plastic cups and measured the top/bottom distance of the exposed lift shaft. I then cut 2x40mm pieces of plastic waste pipe to size, sliced them length wise and pushed them over each other (with length cuts opposed) onto the lift shaft. I took 3 adjustable ring hose clips and having fully unscrewed them, re-screwed them in the top/middle/bottom of the piping. As of 31/12/2020 the chair is of my required fixed height and is functioning perfectly.

Comfortable office chair
Needed a new chair as my old leather one had cracked etc from years of use however it was 20 plus years old. The chair came well packed about 15kgs with simple to follow build instructions. The arms fold away so it fits nicely under my desk, its rolls easy on my short pile carpet and is really comfy with plenty of padding. So pleased with the puchase at a decent price.

Brilliant Chair
Don’t bother paying the extra £24 to get someone in to assemble as it’s fairly straightforward. Took me about one thoroughly enjoyable hour! I love this chair so much. It’s so comfortable it feels like a warm hug. Despite looking like quite a large chair, it fit really snug into my small desk area. The swivel mechanism is smooth and not choppy like my old one. Seat is so wide I can sit crossed legged and not fall off, like my old one. Highly rate this chair. Really chuffed with it.

Good value and good quality
Arrived well packed. Instructions for assembly clear. A bit fiddly to put the final screws in and have since had to tighten up once.

Excellent chair
I work from home 5 days a week and this chair is so comfortable and it I pretty easy to put together single handled, taking only 30 minutes. I admittedly had to literally use my head at one point to balance the back rest so I could get the screws in, but that’s the sort of thing us single women do.

Not as well padded as photographed, and not a totally rubbish chair
It took over a week to arrive, from “Hot Oasis”. Construction was easy. To keep threads intact: When you meet worrying resistance, go slow and unscrew slightly before screwing in again, is my advice. When I was a young man I would screw as hard and fast as I could, not caring about breakage. But now that I’m older, I pull back every now and again and go slow. Do they use a bicycle pump to plump these chairs up, prior to photography? Office chairs always seem to photograph extremely well, despite being thinly padded. This chair looks smart but I'm very disappointed with how uncomfortable it is. This isn't even an 8 minute chair, let alone suitable for sitting on for a normal 8 hour working day. I've resorted to using the memory foam cushion previously used on the chair this replaces... My old chair had served me well for over a decade but as with all office chairs; the nuts keeping the armrests secured to the back and seat worked themselves loose, with no way to secure them into whatever rubbish quality plywood they used to embed the nuts into. Out of curiosity, I disassembled my old chair base and sure enough, it is indeed horrible quality plywood with a bracket hosting the nuts, which the screws holding the chair arms screw into... which is why the arms on office chairs fall off first. I expect the arms will stay on, if I don't use the arms. The padding and fold away arms were the two reasons I chose this chair. It's a worry that the back is held on using only two screws. My previous chair had three on the back and the arms, there are lots of office chairs on sale which only use two screws in total per side for back and seat, I decided to avoid those. My old chair was 1cm wider and much deeper, also far more padded. It was high and comfortable but I reluctantly had to get rid of it because the base made clonking noises (broken ball bearing part under the shaft, which if only they sold separately would have fixed the clonking, but this part is to be found for sale nowhere on earth) the wood underneath the seat had disintegrated (it was held together using another piece of wood I had drilled holes into and placed beneath it) and it creaked like the floorboards in a haunted house but guess what? After a mere couple of days of use, this new chair is already clonking and making creaking noises. The "headrest" doesn’t reach my head when reclining; hits you mid neck. The soft touch plastic doesn't seem very resistant to wear, it's too soft. I would prefer leather faced at the very least but every time I found one which looked a good punt, the seats were too small. So frustrating! Because all of these chairs use the same parts and are roughly the same size, I might attach the back of my old chair to this one. The padding on the armrests are a decent thickness and look easy to repair, when the faux leather inevitably splits. I expect this will last the 12 months they plan cheap office chair obsolescence for, but this wasn’t exactly rock bottom cheap, and a rock bottom would cope better with the padding on this chair.
