Excellent quality product and easy to use
Excellent quality product in about 2 weeks I have seen a real difference in the hair algae it's dying out and was very easy to pull out I didn't have much but I wanted it gone and some other rocks are looking much clearer I will be buying this again it is a real good product and easy to use

Great product
I am now a firm believer in the power of bacteria. Simply open and put it to work in my sump. Releases automatically into the water over time. This product and Dr Tim's Eco Balance along with carbon dosing has ended my struggle to keep nutrient levels under control.

Ok at best
I was previously using the liquid form and dosing weekly but wanted to switch to the less “involved” route. It works but not as affectively as the liquid one. I’m back to dosing myself.

Did not work!
I have previously used Dr. Tim's Liquid Waste Away and was very impressed. So I decided to use the Time Release Gel. Per directions, I placed it in a low flow area of my display tank, 4 weeks ago. It has just started to turn color and my tank looks worse than it has since using this item. I'm very dissatisfied and will never use the gel form again.
