Excellence resource, very happy with my purchase.
When I saw this book on Amazon, I was not sure what to expect. I love fusion workouts and after years of working out with DVDs and YouTube, I decided I wanted to learn proper technique and create my own workouts. This book has proven to be an excellent resource! Each exercise is clearly explained with great pictures. The best part are the multiple exercise programs at the end of the book to follow and they even teach you how to create your own workout so you'll never get bored. I've been using this book consistently since I bought it and I am learning so, so much. I thought I knew I was doing because I've been working out with videos for so long but I realized that without an instructor on the TV screen I had to be really 'present' mentally and physically and make sure I was doing each exercise properly, it's been an eye opener! In summary this book is great, I am so glad I bought it!

Highly recommend!
This book gives you a great flexibility, strength, and balance workout in your own home. It has illustrations as well as written explanations to the correct positioning of each exercise. It has a variety of programs to choose from.

I found many useful tidbits of information
Fusion Workouts: Fitness, Yoga, Pilates and Barre by Helen Vanderburg is a helpful book for someone looking to implement a variety of exercises into their daily routine. I was impressed by the flexibility of the workouts with the ability to manipulate the recommendations to fit into your personal schedule and exercise needs. The appendices were a quick shortcut to get to the meat of the book if you are already familiar with the basics of the four styles of exercise. I was not familiar so I read through the book from the beginning to the end. I found many useful tidbits of information. The pictures were well documented showing examples of what to do and what not to do. In addition the make your own charts in the back would come in handy if you find a set of exercises you like to do and want to be able to repeat them without flipping through various pages. I haven’t been able to do the exercises but they look manageable for someone like myself, who is only slightly sedentary and would like to be more active. I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is an AWESOME compilation of the best of Yoga, and Pilates and Barre....I LOVE this book!! Great photos and explanations!!
