The book is quite complete and well written. An excellent guide for students and scholars.

This book arrived yesterday afternoon and, in just flicking through it last night, I've already learned things that I didn't know. There's also plenty of diagrams and loads of photos so you're not simply reading masses of text without visual explanation. So many earth science books are all text - I can't be alone in liking a visual guide to the written explanation.I also have to admire a book where the reviewer writing the "puff" on the back cover also keeps their comments realistic. I've recently read so many earth science books that are allegedly "beautifully written." This one doesn't use such tosh, referring instead, to a book that is "a very reasonably priced and easy to read introduction to natural landforms..." I like the honesty!Looking forward to spending more time reading through it.Knocked one star off because I think higher production values would have been nice. It looks and feels self-published, but it isn't. But then I suppose if it had higher production values then it might not have been so reasonably priced!
