The multi-blade setup sounds intense, but he swears the blades are so sharp and close together that they cut the hair incredibly close without pulling or causing razor burn. The lubricating strip is a must-have for him, helping it glide right over those sensitive areas. He says the handle feels solid and sturdy in his hand, which makes a big difference for control. While the refills aren't exactly cheap, the sheer quality of the shave—smooth, close, and irritation-free every single time—makes it totally worth the investment for him. Purchased this and razor system and started using it after delivery for over a month. I am very hard on razors so usually I use them for about a week to tens days until switching to a new one and looking for a good close shave. My problem spots are under my jaw and chin. The razor took good care of those problem spots and gave me a close smooth shave. Today it’s been over a month and the razor still works well without nicks and scratches like my other razors when they get dull. I have the metal handle which I prefer for the performance of the razor which I recommend for the use of these razor and blades. While the cost of replacement blades are a little high, the amount of time they last makes up for that cost. If it changes, I will update this review accordingly.
