PLB-2091, CUSTOM HANDMADE DAMASCUS STEEL BILLET/BLANK BLADE MAKING BAR (Twist Pattern)

I’ve purchased this steel several times. The patterns are very discernible. Steel came annealed so it was easy to work with. It hardened perfectly on the first try. I had no warping or cracking issues. I will continue to use this for my knife making needs.

Ordered on a saturday arrived 7am on tuesday, this is the second bilot i'v ordered from this company and this one is absolutly flawless not a single cold shut or anything. For the price these are excellent bilots.

This billet of Damascus was honestly better than I was expecting it to be after reading other reviews. It showed up FAST too, especially considering I live in Alaska and shipping is slow here. Perfectly straight, no wierd cuts or gouges like everyone complained about and it most certainly wasn’t pre-hardened like I read in other comments… Maybe I got lucky and got the one good one but man for the price I will 100% be buying more from them… Also it looked incredible after acid etching.

Good value for price. You can tell it is handmade, do to non-parallel sides and minor inclusions, that could be worked around. Came not hardened, so it was easy to work. Just needed to heat treat after shaping... Good Quality.

Uneven thickness in the middle of the steel. Unlikely to purchase again. The pattern in the Damascus was alright.
