97 year old father in law finds this very useful as an aid to get out of the car. Would recommend.

I bought this because I thought it was a problem I needed to address.It doesn't.The handle over the door and the console brace work better to transfer me to and from the car.It's a glorified armrest for alighting the vehicle.I had an issue with not having a Seat Belt Presenter.Motability Scheme fitters wouldn't fit one.I devised my own.Off AliExpress I ordered a shortened Seat Belt Extender Capture Box without the strapping.I cable tied it to the hand grip above the door, as not to cause any cosmetic or structural damage and when I disconnect the seat belt, I clip it into the capture box, forward of and above my shoulder.When I am transferring in, I use this hooking device to collect the belt strapping before releasing the belt.Mind though that the door remains open or the window down, as you may shatter the door window accidentally.This solution works perfectly for me.Cost me £20 all in. Including this device I reviewing here, the Capture Box, cable tie and a bit of synaptic firing.I slid the cable tie through the extender loop and presented it under the hand grip end closest to the B pillar above the door, pulling the cable tie over to fasten it.I used an opaque white cable tie to fit in with the upholstery colour. A dark-coloured cable tie may suffice for a more morose(bad tempered) interior.I haven't seen this modification anywhere and feel I need to share it.It may work in other scenarios but it meets my needs.If you need to compliment me for this. I am 'andygreyrider' one word and can be found on a browser search.I have many more inventions that may help the less able. I just don't see why stores try to rip us off with stuff they'll never use themselves and expect us to suffer their incompetence.I bought this device and put it use.Tried and failed with that rubber strap on thing.
