They are walkers and they were $12. They are not as nice as the better units. On/off is a button instead of a rotary dial. But from a hearing perspective. they work the same. you can hear conversations and they mute when a shot goes off. 23-25 db is ok for 22lr and 9mm. Better than nothing for large rifle rounds but you need better.

Take the battery that is included and throw it away. Put in a Duracell or Energizer. Remember, always remove the battery when not using it. Leave the battery that comes with it in it for 6 months and you will ruin the device. Fair warning

Great sound quality and volume control. My only complaint is they don’t time out and shut off so if you forget to turn them off you’re going to be replacing batteries a lot. Especially me because I bought them for my kids.

I used these all last duck season and the batteries are still going strong. It does the job very well. The only issue I have is that you cannot hear directionally, but that was to be expected.

Tested right out of the box, and they are great product for the price. Good sound pick-up, comes with pair of batteries to use. I feel these are much safer on a range than normal ear guards, since you can hear other people for training.
