Bought this one cuz I was very happy with their hood for the RF 35mm f1.8. A little better quality than the 35mm, fits very nicely, stiffer material. Definitely recommend!

As a beginner, I wasn’t sure if I really needed a lens hood for my Canon R8, but I’m so glad I got this one! It fits perfectly, is easy to attach, and really helps reduce glare and lens flare. Honestly, this should have come with the lens. The lens doesn't flare that much, but it's such a compact little 50mm (it has a tiny, dinky little 43mm lens cap) and adding the lens hood makes it aesthetically look a lot more proportional to a camera. Highly recommended.
