This is a light-weight and moisturizing serum that despite the inclusion of lavender, doesn't really seem to have much a scent, at least that I can detect. It does feel cool and refreshing when applied. It is a think gel-like serum, but I didn't find it as watery as some of the other reviewers. It does leave a rather tacky feel on my face for quite a while, so I am not as likely to use this alone (the product description suggests that this serum can also be used as a moisturizer). I don't find it moisturizing enough to use on its own, anyway as I have very dry skin. I prefer to use this after a toner and then apply a moisturizing cream on top. It does boost the performance of my moisturizer, so I can make it through the day without having to reapply, although that may be partly due to the fact that spring weather has finally arrived, and my skin isn't quite as finicky as it is during the winter. I do feel that this is light enough to use as part of my summer skin care routine. In addition to being dry and prone to dehydration, my skin is also sensitive, but this serum causes no redness, sting or irritation. I haven't really noticed much of an effect on my porese, but this serum does seem to help leave my skin smooth and more resilient.. The current price of $67.99 is initially a bit of. a shock, but since the bottle contains 3.4 ounces, this is actually quite a bit less expensive than many other serums I have tried. The serum arrived nicely boxed and properly sealed.
