Reflections from the Heart of God: Devotional Bible for Women [New King James Version]

It came on time, very clean, to my surprise it came with a Dividers, I love it , is so easy to find my chapter of the Bible, thank you God bless you !!!

Thomas Kinkade fans will not be disappointed! I have only had this Bible for a week and am just delighted! This Bible is absolutely beautifully illustrated. My words do not even do it justice.This NKJV is sleek and put together very well. It is not too large or heavy making it easily portable, yet the size of the print is still large enough for comfortable reading. (For the record, I have very bad vision corrected with contacts.) I have seen reference Bibles larger than this one with smaller size print!The devotions are also very inspiring, but I have not read them all yet. While the devotions I have read are very good, there are not that many of them as compared to other more in depth devotional Bibles. (About one per week, plus a few more.) This is not a bad thing. It is just not that type of Bible. All of these devotions, as I understand it, were written by Nanette Kinkade, and I appreciate her sharing them very much!The overall quality of this edition is exceptional. To be fair, I am not sure about the hardback edition as I have never seen one. I realize this is a matter of preference, but I believe, the bonded leather edition is the way to go. It may cost a bit more, but it is well-worth the difference in price. I say this as it seems Kinkade's pictures just seem to belong in a leather bound Bible. Again, this is a matter of opinion. His pictures are certainly beautiful any where.The only real complaint or disappointment I had was that this is not a red letter edition of the Bible. It was put together so well and so beautifully, however, that I didn't mind it as much as I thought I would.

When are the best parts of this Bible besides the word of God is the hidden and beautiful pictures in it. I would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a woman's bible that was was both NKJV, and not directed specifically at mothers. This was a nice surprise because I had given up looking for one, and went on to look for Christmas gifts under " inspirational Thomas Kincade ". This bible was the 3rd choice that popped up. The pictures inside this are from Kincade's artwork, and compliment the simplistic beauty of this particular bible.I would recommend this for any woman who wants a version of a King James Bible that is not quite so heavy on old english, or simply a lover of Kincade artwork.

I owned this Bible a few years ago and lost it while on vacation. I have searched for it for a couple years, to no avail since it is out of print. I finally found it on Amazon, by a seller. I bought 2 hardbacks as gifts for Christmas and bought myself the leather bound. This Bible has the most amazing pictures by Thomas Kinkade and devotions by his wife, Nanette. My friends love the Bible I gave them as a gift, and I definitely am thrilled to have mine.

I have one like it. It was a gift for a coworker. She loves it as much as I did mine. The pictures help to create a sense of peace. The devotionals written by the painter's wife encourage and touch women 's hearts right where they are.

I was very disappointed in this bible . I realize it is used , but it is in terrible shape . I’m keeping it of course but it looks like it was wet at some point because many of the pages are stuck together . But it’s ok . You learn by your mistakes , right?

First off, this is a beautiful Bible (hardcover) the pictures and light green pages of devotions with ligth background pics in same color reminds me of the pleasure I got from my Children's Living Bible- I love pictures and color - even if just a different color for the chapter numbers! Second, this is NOT a daily devotional By that I mean is that this is a NKJV Bible with about 5 sections of devotions scattered throughout along with a few pictures inserted randomly. The Scripture in the devotion and the Scripture on the pictures do NOT match where you are in the Bible I think in the book of John there was a beautiful picture and a verse from James was on it The devotional topics are 1)Relationship with God 2) Marriage, Family, Parenting 3) Work and Service 4) Friendships 5) Life's challengers 6 Portraits of Bible Women and the first section of devotions, for instance, falls somewhere in Exodus so if you're just reading as a Bible you come to thse beautiful pages of light green that take up about 18-2 pages then the book you're in continues- and the devotions have nothing to do with the topic of Exodus (probably - haven't read them all but don't seem to be esp since the verse at the top of the page is from another bookshe also mentions her husband a lot (apparently they were still happy in the marriage when she wrote these) but somehow after knowing a bit of what happened when he passed I feel for her as a woman feels for another woman I don't think I'll relate much to the second section since I'm single and no kids but even these devotions' pages are very pretty and add a bit of calm color and I've skimmed through a few and actually think I'll enjoy the first section for sure and probably the last 4. I'm not sure though since they seem to be a lot of personal examples in the devotion and I generally don't like too much 'personal'. I don't know if this would be one I'd use at church - probably not since I have the hardback and I have other Bibles I use there ....this is one I'm more likely to pick up at home and enjoy the beauty of because it IS beautiful.I think I'm going to see if it's available in leather/fake leather for a reasonable price (since I love looking through it) but the cover on the hardback is stunning and the good thing is that even under the dust jacket it's the same picture! sometimes the cover is plain underneath but not on this one but a very nice hardback has a nice slick feel to it that's even nice to rub your hand on if you like texture
