EGO Power+ AOL3200 32 FL OZ Premium Chain Saw bar and Chain Oil, Brown

Seems to work well, it is harder to pour than oil because it's thick goopy gooey stuff. It's also harder to see the level in the window of my chainsaw because there is not enough color to it. So far the saw is not leaking bar chain oil in storage even with a full tank, could this be due to the consistency of this stuff? If so it's worth the harder pour. It keeps the bar and chain well lubed and cleans up easier than oil too. Since I'm using it in a battery-powered Ego chain saw it seems fitting to use an oil-free bar-chain lubricant. Hopefully, it will extend the life of my bar and chain as they advertise.

I just bought an EGO chainsaw, they ship it dry, so I had to buy this bar oil from EGO and I started to add oil using a little funnel. It started to pour slowly but immediately overwhelmed the small filling neck creating a mess on my work bench. This oil is like molasses, it is very sticky and you need to be very careful to pour it extremely slow. I tossed the funnel and poured small amount at the time directly from the bottle. Also it is difficult to see how much oil is in the saw because the oil is very light in color and the window on the saw is white. I used a flash light and was able to gauge the level.

This product would benefit from a more cone shaped opening. The wide mouth on this oil container practically guarantees oil will spill on your new EGO chain saw. Other that that, the oil does its job. I chainsawed through two trees easily with my new Ego Chain Saw.

All I can say is that when you buy the EGO chain saw it is not shipped with oil and other than light lubrication of the saw shipped from the factory, you must buy chain oil before you start to use the saw. I recommend this oil. Upon receiving the saw dry, the resevior held about 1/4 of the bottle. Buy the oil when you buy the EGO saw.
