Amazon Basics - Faux Fur Throw Blanket - 63 x 87 Inch, Ivory

UPDATE: So 2 years later, I bought 1 more! 3 for us/ 2 cats + 1 for my mom + 1 for her dog! I bought all 5 in the Ivory color.SUPER snuggly blanket to throw on couch, use on our bed (We have 2 cats that scratch the duvet)… YOU WONT REGRET!!!! The price does not compare to overly expensive Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware etc.1.) SUPER MINK-LIKE SOFT, warm, feels luxurious for the price, not overly synthetic...2.) Great size to cover at least half of Queen-size bed, or drape over a couch.3.) No shedding and I've machine-washed them & machine-dried several times!4.) PERFECT weight. NOT too heavy, not too thin, so you can fit in washer/dryer & shake out easily!!5.) Great price point.6.) The cats approve :-) !!!! They knead it & purrrrr like its their mama cat!!! 😂I had always eyed the ones at Pottery Barn, Crate & Barrel, etc, but found those to be too heavyweight, not machine-washable, (and super expensive).I bought the Ivory color here and it is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! It really adds that Hygge/ Scandinavian-type look (if you're into that style).So far, I've had for over a year, washed several times.Obviously, I highly recommend, as I've purchased 5. :-D

I bought this originally for my adult daughter thinking it was an electric blanket. I had obviously misread and thank goodness!! I ordered my daughter an electric blanket and kept this one! I’m in love! It’s so soft! It definitely keeps me warm at night!I sleep with the fur wrapped around me and it just makes me melt into another level of relaxation and sleep that I so desperately need! I’m not the biggest fan of the other side of the blanket because it is an odd gold-ish color but it really doesn’t matter. The other side is HEAVEN!I sometimes spread the blanket out over the entire bed with the fur side up when I make the bed. Other times, I fold it with fur out and place it at foot of bed. It looks classy—not trashy….🤔😀.Really great buy! I think during the summer months, I’ll be able to sleep on top of the blanket without getting too hot but still experience “all that amazingness!”Go ahead and just do it!!! Buy it!

The quality makes you think I paid alot of money for it. So definitely a great bang for your buck! It washes well. I ordered mine in 2021 and it's held up so good. Just as good as the 1st day I bought it. It keeps me warm....I take it to the ballpark to cover up and it does the job!Don't pass up on the this one!!

An amazing blanket/throw. So soft that it sometimes feels like real rabbit fur!Washes great. I've washed mine over a dozen times and it still feels just as soft as when I first got it. I ordered one in brown too, and will order one off white again just so I have a backup! Really, so comfy, and such a great blankie. THIS HAS BEEN MY BEST AMAZON PURCHASE. And I order off Amazon several times a month, for many years! You won't regret it. The ONLY things is that when you first get it, it sheds quite a bit! Wash it the first few times by itself. And clean out the dryer filter. It will stop shedding after the first two washes.

This is my go-to gift! Have given 3 as gifts, have 1 myself, and want to buy more for my house as well as gifts, but don't know when Ivory will be back in stock. Both sides are extremely soft, it looks very high-end in contrast to the affordable price, and the large blanket size is a must. I seriously cannot recommend this blanket enough! I hate having to bring it from room to room, so I want to put one or more on every couch, plus one on my bed.I like the ivory color the best as a grey one I purchased had kind of a weird blob of brownish-red color that seemed out of place, but it is still gorgeous and how often is it completely laid out flat anyway? It has such a nice weight and hand; perfect for curling up in. And did I mention the large size? Sure did, but needs to be pointed out again!Probably the best find I've ever gotten on Amazon!

So extremely soft!!!I went with the larger size 63" x 87" in ivory, since my old 50" X 60" throw just wasn't long enough.It's mid-weight -- not light but certainly not what I'd call heavy either -- yet still quite warm and cozy.I've washed mine twice and my dryer only produced the slightest bit of lint from it -- overall, I would say it doesn't shed... or at least, only a negligible amount of shedding. Certainly not enough to notice or be bothered by. I also washed mine before using it -- and that may have decreased any shedding a few other reviews mentioned.The faux fur design is lovely -- a pelt-type look -- gorgeous, and I felt it looked high-end.My only regret is that the ivory is more cool-tone pale taupe'ish color (almost near a pink'ish pale taupe) than I wished -- this coolness of this ivory color is made very obvious with my warm color theme: tan sofa with buttercream and mustard accent items (throw pillows, knick knacks, etc.). I just never imagined ivory could be such a cool tone.That said, it's still lovely, looks very high quality and it's so incredibly soft my cat can't leave it alone.Cool color or not: I'm not returning it -- it's MINE MINE MINE! (Or perhaps, it's my cat's. We're still negotiating sharing it!)

This blanket is amazing!!! My husband bought the ivory one for me a few years ago as a Christmas gift and we finally had to buy a second one because everyone in our family of 5 wanted to use it!! We’ve since bought another for my mom, who also loves it, and other family members have loved it after being at our house and have purchased as well! Truly well made, and such a great weight - they almost feel like weighted blankets. They’ve been washed many times - they hold up great in the washer and dryer and have maintained their soft texture without any pilling, etc. I was originally worried that we’d have issues with shedding on our dark gray couch, but this has never been an issue despite frequent use and washing. Cannot recommend enough!!
