Petface Bone Ceramic Dog Food Bowl (Cream/Navy), 20cm

Solid and well made. I was deciding between a stainless steel and a ceramic bowl. I opted for the ceramic because I wanted something that doesn't move around, is easy to clean, safe and doesn't alter the taste of the water. This bowl is well made, heavy, and importantly the dog likes it. The 20cm size is great for medium/large dogs for water, which it keeps cool during hot days (longer than stainless steel anyway). I use a silicone mat underneath as I don't want to scratch my tiled floor. Liked this so much I bought another one for food in a different colour. Not sure about long term durability as it will be easy to chip when washing, but let's see and I think I will risk it as definitely prefer ceramic to stainless steel.

Nice quality - solid and heavy, so it doesn't slide all over the floor - although it needs a non slip mat on tile surface. Good depth and capacity. Good value. Most importantly the Cockapoo is happy with it!

Only 4 stars because the base had a chip in it, but the bowl was needed for a foster dog that was here for 3 weeks. Would buy again but would complain if it was chipped next time. It's a nice bowl for a smallish dog

I was looking for an attractive, sturdy, ceramic water bowl, of a descent size, that was easy to clean, value for money and could remain in the garden all year round. In fact I wanted another bowl for the birds water as the previous one cracked at the first sign of frost. This sheep bowl ticked all the boxes, it remains steady even with bigger birds sitting on the edge. The bowl has remained in the garden for the last 3 years, it must be frost proof as it has survived the water inside freezing on numerous occasions. In the warmer weather the water bowl doubles up as a bird bath, our regular crow has tried to bathe in the sheep bowl, but with little success, so he has learnt to drink from the sheep bowl and bathe in the large sweet tub next to it.

These bowls are lovely. Perfect size for cat water bowls, look very stylish and dishwash well.
