This review is for Reusable Bent Glass Drinking Straws, Set of 6 with 2 Cleaning Brushes,Shatter Resistant,BPA Free, Non-Toxic, Eco-Friendly, 200mm x 10mm (Bent 8'' x10mm, Transparent) Sold by Amazon.com Services LLC to me in 2018 for $10.00. While they are made of glass, so it is possible to break them, mine have never broken. I've dropped one of them from about 3 feet above a hardwood floor, and it didn't break - they do resist breaking and when they do they resist shattering. These have lasted me about 2 years so far and I am very happy with them. These might be a little too long or too short for some people, so a prospective purchaser might want to actually take measurements before buying. Instead of using the dishwasher, it is very easy to clean them out using the cleaner after soaking them in hot soapy water. The main catch is that they're indeed glass - so you have to be careful. These are not "break proof" and I do not put them in the dishwasher. My guess is that you'll have to repurchase periodically if you give these to children - and I'll let you judge whether glass in the mouth of a child seems like an unnecessary hazard, as opposed to a straw-free life. Overall, these have been a worthwhile purchase because they are both convenient and have replaced a large amount of plastic over the years. My experience is that a dozen of these straws, with daily use, will probably last me 10 years.

These are easy to clean, shatter proof, dishwasher safe, and allow me to use a straw without feeling guilty about ruining the planet. They come with cleaning brushes, which is nice. I got the all clear pack but I may get another pack of colorful straws so I have a few more on hand. They are glass so I’d be careful throwing them into the sink because I’m sure the right impact could crack or break one. What I like about these as opposed to stainless steel ones I almot bought is that you can see inside them so you know they’re clean. I definitely recommend them.

I love these straws! I've had them for a couple years now and they're still in great shape. I keep a couple in my car for when I buy an iced coffee or tea. None of them have shattered or chipped. Definitely would recommend.

Definitely dropped one of these bad boys and it did not break. Love that you can SEE inside so you know you're cleaning them properly! Smooth and not too big, it's roughly the same size as a regular plastic straw except the glass will feel a bit thicker than the plastic ones.

It's glass so obviously it's not going to be shatter-proof. It is shatter resistant. I carry mine in my purse in a velvet drawstring case for protection. I love the mouth-feel. Much better than metal or silicone tip!

Love using these straws when I drink my morning coffee! They have not shattered or broken and I have dropped twice in my sink by accident. Get the straws they are at a great price point and you won’t regret it

I wanted the clear glass so you can see inside and verify they’re clean, but I was worried they would be fragile. They are not. In over two years I’ve broken one, and that was not the straw’s fault

The product arrived to me broken. And it didn’t feel like normal glass. It was much thinner than my other brand glass straws.
