DriBlade - Shaving Razor Dry Kit for Men | Only razor holder that contains a custom dry pack to reduce oxidation and increase longevity by at least 3x!

I will start off with the bottom line... I like this product. I can't claim that it works as advertised, as I can't make any measurements to prove the assumption. I don't know if my blades last longer because I got this storage box the same time as my purchase of a new razor on my return to wet shaving. With all of that said, I can recommend this product with no reservation. First of all, it doesn't cost much, and it is a great way to store my razor (from Harry's) and protect it and the attached cartridge. I try to remove all excess water before I return my razor to the box, and even though the box sits on my sink, the razor and blade are always completely dry when I take it out to shave every other day. Also, the blades show no signs of deposits or rust, although that may be because they are good blades. Finally, the box can be used to dry my wife's phone the next time she gets it wet (it is easier to use than a baggie of white rice). So, on the chance that this is better for the blades, and they will last longer, why wouldn't you spend a few bucks (less than for a good pint of beer) for this product.

On a previous review I made a comment that the catch was a bit loose. Unexpectedly, I received an email reply from Pat at DriBiz, the company that manufactures the product. He offered to replace the box at no cost to me. It arrived yesterday and the catch on the new one works perfectly. We often have horror stories about poor responsiveness so I would like to offer my sincere thanks to DriBiz for exceptional customer support. The product works perfectly and is a great solution for storing my Harry's razor and blade safe from the rigors of frequent travel. It holds the razor and blade in a dry environment so that it doesn't get banged around. If you are a frequent traveler like me, it is a great solution, and the company stands by the product. Highly recommended.

My review is currently on the execution of the design since I am new to this system. I will edit my review after using the system for a time period. My Gillette Fusion and Gillette Fusion ProGlide Power will both fit in the case. The case is small as possible for people who might want to carry it on trips. It could not be smaller without sacrificing space for the desiccant beads. I have dropped a star because of the design of the pouches with desiccant beads. The design would have been better with ability to reuse the beads (without the cloth covering) by microwave and/or oven. The pouches are a one time use since I don't believe the pouch would be safe if heated. I am looking at the idea of using Cotton Muslin cloth or a purchased bag where I can remove the beads for reuse. EDIT* Gillette Fusion Proglide Men's Razor With Flexball Handle Technology also fits this unit. EDIT2* I started using my unit at around January 23, 2016 and today (March 23rd) I felt my blade start to pinch a little meaning the blade is dulling. I am still using the original desiccant so everything is working well on this item. Note that I do not store my unit near the bathroom and rinse my blade in alcohol after each use.

It's huge! Dang thing is big enough to practically put your entire shave kit into. Of course it only holds one razor making it totally impractical. I guess if you always check your luggage and don't mind having giant accessories like this it works great, but it would take up so much space that it's not worth it to me.

This a very good storage case, but a little too short for the Gillette Fusion ProGlide handle and blade. The end of the cartridge hits up against the top. So I gave it four stars instead of five. It should a millimeter or two longer to fit the Gillette handles and blades. Especially since they are most common handles and blades. I dropped a star since my initial review because it ruins the lubricating strip, and that's a big issue for me. It defeats part of the purpose of the Gillette blades. When I first bought the DriBlade, the blade was a couple of weeks old, so the lubricating strip was half-way down. When I put in a new blade, the next morning the lubricating strip was melted against the side of the case. I was upset. It melted away more than half of the strip. Very disappointing.

This is a great kit to keep your razors dry and fresh, preventing horrible things like razor burn! It is a bit bulky but still fits nicely in the wash kit bag I take to the gym. It's made of good quality plastic so while I've not done so yet, will have no problems putting it in the dishwasher to clean it when necessary (the inner blue plastic the razor sits in is a little thinner so will update this review if I made the wrong decision!) As someone who shaves once every two days or so this is really making me rethink my 4-blades a month to your door shipping service!

Big and bulky. Returned product for refund, which I received without any problems. I wanted something to protect my razor that packed easily. This was not the solution for me.

I have owned this for almost two years and it definitely works. I use to go through a blade(Fusion) every 3-4 days now I get 8-10. To extend the life of the desiccant I keep the lid closed when I'm shaving to keep moisture out and I dry the handle before putting it back in the case. It is a little large for travel but since I previously carried an electric razor when I traveled I find because of its flat rectangular shape it takes less room. I'm ordering a new one because the case no longer seals properly but considering I use it everyday and travel with it, sometimes just throwing it in bag loose, what it saves me on blades it's worth it.
