Amazing for lashes and also stomach I love this product

This Organic Castor Oil is a wonderful remedy for certain skin conditions. Very effective ! When you first get it will come in a plastic bottle. It's been recommended to keep this oil in a DARK GLASS bottle or jar, so you will need to pour it in the glass one. In my opinion, there is no smell or very weak if any, it is pretty thick - think of a good honey, extremely hard to be absorbed by the skin, taking hours to do so. However, if you mix it with some coconut oil, the oil absorption by the skin is way much faster, and within minutes you can put your clothes on. Great for dry eyes due to computer strain, I just place a bit on the eye lids massaging them lightly or applying the oil before going to bed, and in no time my eyes are as good as new. Also, good for when I get an eye lid infection, aggressive eye itch or irritation. Same goes for lip blisters or cold sores. When I first feel it coming, I place a drop on that area of the lip, and it almost disappears in minutes, without ever getting to mature or enlarge, it truly is a matter of minutes or one hour. An other great healing you get is when you apply it to skin folds irritation/fungus such as overweight people, seniors with droopy skin, and such ... However, when I made compresses and applied it to my lower back pain and sciatica, there was no relief whatsoever. If you are using a towel to use as a compress, there is no way to get the oil out of it and you will need to throw it away. A very good investment in you daily problems.

Good stuff I’ve used it daily for a year or so now. Is organic. This is my 2nd bottle. I’d give it 5 stars if it was in a glass bottle rather than plastic.

I just received my castor oil, so this review is not about the product's efficacy. I bought this oil to promote hair growth, and I will update my review after I have been using it for a few months. The castor oil arrived in an amber plastic bottle. It had a plastic stopper inside to prevent any leaks. The oil is odorless! I am extremely sensitive to odors, and I have read that castor oil can have an unpleasant smell, so I wasn't sure if I would be able to use this, but it is odor-free! I'm very pleased!! (I have also read that castor oil can develop an odor as it begins to age, so to prolong its shelf-life, I will be keeping it in a cool, dark cupboard.) So far, I am pleased with my purchase- no leaks, no odor!! =) I'll update with my experience of using this oil in a few months. =) EDIT - 02/01/2018 - Sad to say, using this castor oil on my scalp did not help new hair to grow in the spots where I have lost hair. I didn't notice my hair feeling thicker or more lustrous or any of the wonderful results for which I'd been hoping. I'm now using a biotin shampoo and taking a biotin supplement. I began both in October. It helped immensely in the first couple of months! I saw new growth within a few weeks. After another bout of illness and intense stress, I lost lots more hair, and now the biotin doesn't seem to be helping either. ☹️ Wish I could find an answer. I've looked into Viviscal, but it's expensive, and the ingredients are off-putting to me. A lot of the reviewers here had great results with this castor oil. I wish I had! I warmed the oil gently in a tiny beaker on a candle warmer, massaged it into my scalp, and didn't wash it out until morning. Yuck. Messy and inconvenient. However, a little mess and inconvenience would be a small enough price to pay to have real results! Although this oil didn't work for me, the price is low enough to be a worthy experiment if you, like me, need your hair to re-grow! If anyone has an answer; something with which you've had true success, I'd really appreciate it if you'd leave me a comment here!! Thanks! ☺️

I have used this oil for five months nightly. I use it for moisturizing my hair and for stimulating hair growth on scalp, eyebrows and eyelashes. I get slight gains in the hair and the eyelashes. It is enough to continue doing treatment nightly to both because it seems to reverse the aging process of loss of hair/lashes/ brows. I did purchase Amazon's 100-pack of plain mascara wands to apply to lashes and brows. Be sure to use a clean wand to apply by washing the brush regularly or by switching to a new wand. I think the wand is optional but it does seem to stimulate the eye area more than applying with fingertips and it also applies less product to the small area of lid and eyebrow. I use my fingers to apply to scalp. I apply a small amount (4-6 drops) to each area that has hair loss and to the scalp near those areas. I rub it into the scalp a few seconds on each area to prevent excess getting on my pillow. To moisturize my hair on nights before a shampoo, I apply more castor oil with my fingers and palms to the length of my hair, ends to roots. My hair is about 4 inches long (fairly short) and I use a less than 1 tablespoon for all my hair. Double-check that all the sections have a light coat of the oil. Although you can also moisturize only the hair that is too dry if you have a combination scalp. I cover my hair on those nights with a bandana because the oil will rub off on your pillow. Shampoo it out the next day. It does not require a powerful shampoo. Even a gentle shampoo washes out the castor oil. I do not need to shampoo out the castor oil that was only put on my scalp nightly. You may not have the same experience but my hair remained normal looking after oil was applied to scalp only. Mine looks oily after the castor oil is applied to the length of the hair and you sleep with that. My hair is color-treated and the castor oil has no effect on the color to cause fading or other problems. Since color-treated hair is drier, the castor oil helps the hair like a mask treatment.
