Couldn’t be happier, nice and sturdy and work exactly the same as much more expensive hozelock. I noticed a complaint made by another reviewer on Amazon ‘that the pipe fitting was a fair bit bigger than hozelock, and this is very true. A simple trick to make your pipe fit with ease is to forget the boiling water as this just doesn’t work that well. Get a heat gun {paint remover} , heat up the pipe end for a few seconds and the pipe will slide on easily and once cooled it doesn’t budge.All in all I would recommend these as they really are exceptionally good value

Difficult to connect to standard 1/4 inch piping.

I bought these to add a few extra drippers to my existing Hozelock micro irrigation system. While the look very similar to the official drippers, the bit where the pipe is supposed to be pushed over it is a much bigger diameter than the official ones. As a result, even with a good soak in boiling water, existing Hozelock tubing does not stretch enough to fit. I did order some non-official tubing as well, and that seems softer than the Hozelock stuff, so that MIGHT stretch bit more when heated, but I didn't try that.

The media could not be loaded. I used them on my plot of land in Poland where we planted holly bushes along a stretch of about 50m. The drippers themselves work perfectly. The important thing is that the thin connecting hose is not soft, because it can get crushed and block the flow of water.
