Indispensable in multiplying the torque from my Bosch impact wrench on a first gen Acura legend/Sterling 2.7 L C27A V6 crank shaft bolt, also found in Honda Accords. Having previously needed to use a breaker bar with a cheater pipe extension along with a supporting jack stand on a previous Honda crankshaft bolt removal several years ago, I decided to work smarter this time around and glad I did.The Bosch electric impact puts out a respectable (but not earth shattering) 500ft-lbs but with this socket made quick work of the crank bolt with no fuss or drama. Highly recommended for the $23.24 price when compared to similar products being sold at almost twice the amount.

I pick up the socket not just for crankshaft bolts but it works really well on stubborn lug nuts as well seeing as how most trucks have 22 mm lug nuts and the area I live in there is a lot of corrosion and it has saved a lot of wear and tear on my impacts

These heavy sockets are just what you need to remove stubborn super tight crankshaft bolts and any other super tight bolt that they fit. The heavy weight of the sockets provides more force from your impact gun to remove tight fasteners.

I don't know what stretch and sheerness means concerning steel tools, but these sockets are awesome. They have a specific purpose and do it well. Have you ever tried to loosen the crankshaft bolt on a Honda with a harmonic balancer holder, a 25" breaker bar with a length of cheater pipe attached, and then it is so tight you just know when it breaks loose you are gonna need a ambulance or at least a week of chiropractic care? My goodness man, these sockets along with a good air impact work so well that you'll agree that the value exceeds 5 stars. And with the addition of the 21 mm thick wall socket you can do Toyota and others. I Highly recommend this product.

If you’ve ever attempted removing a crankshaft bolt from a Honda vehicle, you should know the pain that’s involved. This socket makes it so easy, you’ll think the bolt was loose.I strongly suggest purchasing every weighted socket for all of the more difficult crank bolts for all import and domestic vehicles. Well worth the investment!

Absolutely worth the money, saved me a ton of hassle and unnecessary effort. Literally took me 3 seconds to get the crank bolt off of a 2002 Honda Odyssey at the junkyard, and again less than 3 seconds on my 1999 Odyssey at home that needed another harmonic balancer.If you are thinking of getting this one instead of the name brand one that is a few dollars more, get it, it works just as good, it arrived earlier than the name brand one because Amazon carried it in their warehouse. I didn't need a crank holding tool to get the crank bolt off, but you shouldn't use it to put it back on or tighten it, use a standard impact socket and a 200 ft lbs impact wrench, or use a crank holding tool and a torque wrench at 181 ft lbs. It also depends on your vehicle, but some Hondas are specific on how tight the bolts are.

I never thought more mass on a socket would make a difference but it's just like having a bigger hammer so after using it now I understand. I broke a 1/2 extension trying to remove a 19mm bolt on a harmonic balancer pulley. This socket with my battery powered dewalt impact was able to remove it. I was using a 19mm impact socket but it did nothing. Since it was a regular socket. I recommend for anyone that does automotive work specially on Honda engines. There are cheaper ones and more expensive ones but I believe either would work.

This thing will take out that stubborn crankbolt in a jif 10/10 all the other guys in my shop got one on the way
